Edo tensei, well the only way the hokages are released is if the user of the jutsu chooses to release them, so why wasn't Orochimaru given any panel time about the release of the jutsu? I cant simply see hagoromo releasing their souls. Unless... yeap oro took possession over him.

He can free souls and summon them the way he wants, he freed those souls in edo tensei form despite Orochimaru's will. Souls left, nothing to command them. So they turn into ash.

Hagoromo has control over the spirits of the pure world, not necessarily Edo Tensei. Just like how he summoned the kages' spirits from the pure world, he was able to free the spirits from the impure world and return them to the pure world.

This is stupid, it was established since the Pain arc already that a master rinnegan user is the bridge but the real world and the afterlife because of Outa Path (special mention to human path). There's nothing unbelievable about Hagoromo being able to release Edo Tensei, but Obito using Sharingan to traverse between the two worlds is jus bullshit.
