So we know that if Kabuto is killed the Jutsu can't be undone, but can the bodies still be sealed if Kabuto is killed?

Killing Kabuto won't change anything.
Kabuto added these controll things to them so they will behave
the same after he died, otherwise he would have to fear, that
after his death they would gain their consciousness back.
