Edo Tensei Get Stronger?

Watching today's anime release, I had to question how strong ET Zabuza and Haku are compared to when they were alive. That is, originally while the two of them were notable shinobi, they were taken down by a novice Team 7. Now that they are reanimated they seem to pose an even greater threat (aside from their inability to be killed). This is the same in the manga. I would figure that Kakashi's grown significantly since their original encounter and would be able to handle them with relative ease. Do you think that they overpower the ET's for sensationalism, or perhaps is Kabuto's ET able to enhance the powers of its puppets? It's easy to explain it away with plot no jutsu, but that's not very informative or insightful.

Simply because they cannot be defeated without sealing them. If this wasn't the case they'd be dead much faster than how they are now with the Edo Tensei.

i too thought this. =) when zabuza and haku entered the war i kind of thought theyd run into kakashi. since the battle on the bridge kakashi has grown alot stronger so i predicted that it would be an easy fight considering zabuza and haku have been dead but it wasnt so that too leaves me wondering if the edo increases their powers. =)

I was thinking about this the whole time. I could kinda tell with the foreshadowing that Kakashi would see them again. But it does seem their powers are stronger...

Only thing I can think is that it's easier to fight when you don't have to worry about defense. Kakashi has to make sure not to get hit at all and he has to manage his chakra levels.

They're exactly the same, Kabuto just has a tighter binding on them

Manga-to render their body totally incacipated and unable to move

Anime-to set their soul free or ease their concionce(con-chunse) by talking to them

Thats actually how Sasori got defeated in the manga. Kabuto then turns like 90% of them into complete puppets and that when the sealings start taking place
