there are other edo's that beat him and gai cant beat any edo because he doesnt have any sealing jutsu... edo hashirama, he can easily subdue gai with many jutsu and can seal gai, and edo itachi is basically unbeatable and edo bm minato, edo danzo, edo kabuto too many shinobi in edo variations could beat and edo gai because they have sealing jutsu and he does not....

We have yet to see if 8th gate guy > Minato. Otherwise he would be sealed.

The 8th gate is done by the heart, it is located in the heart, all of the gates are located in an organ, or a part of the body.

Edo Tensei's don't really have a body, it's just a ''paper body''.
