Honestly, I feel people far overrate edo tensei as a significant powerup due to the unlimited stamina reserve...in my opinion, I would see the edo version of Rikuodo Sennin as an ultimate downgrade, as I am far sure there are particular repercussions other than being poorly controlled by "tactician" Kabuto who managed to have most of the edo akatsuki members wiped out in two moves by the Shinobi alliance, as if nothing could be more disappointing than such a slap to the face... I am rather disappointed such a jutsu was created to be so overwhelmingly OP, perhaps I simply cannot stand the infatuation with it...

SO6P could turn his dreams into reality so I think that he would be strong enough to simply change himself from being an EDO to being alive, come to think of it doesnt the Rinnegan allow one to control the flow of life and death, allowing Nagato who was fairly weak compared to the SO6P to revive everyone in the village, who says the SO6P couldnt just keep himself from dying.

Come to think of it, the only thing that would be able to kill the SO6P would be the SO6P. Maybe he commited suicide or simply allowed himself to die?
