ohh i never forget about that. but tobi have his intangibility in check last time minato caught him off guard but knowing tobi he won't make the same mistake like he did in the past,

FTG need kunai and seal right ? tobi can use the 6th tail Corrosive Gas to melt the kunai and fill the battle field with that liquid thus taking minato footing,

there are time raw power>speeed

Eventho he knows about Minato's powers, that doesn't mean that he can defend from it, and I'm sure minato won't try the same exact things when he fought Tobi the last time. If the 6th tail releases his gas all over the field, then not only minato will be affected but all of the Beasts and even tobi.

There is never the time when power>speed, but only if minato wouldn't have something like a simple kunai/fuuinjutsu/rasengan.

TBH, I'd say a stalemate seeing as Tobi has one sealing tech (Gedo Mazo dragon), and Minato can easily evade this. Edo Minato would still have trouble getting close to Tobi because he'd have to fend of his Jinchuuriki paths, which is no easy task whatsoever. Edo Minato can simply evade and evade, whilst Tobi can stop himself from being touched. I am still unsure though.

:sy: You guys have no idea what speed means... why bother to argue more.

Its the Uchiha fanboys club, they're incredibly dumb. You'd be wasting your time trying to argue with them, the fact that after every major power up Naruto gets faster and faster(KM,BMetc) means that speed is a HUGE thing with kishi is lost on them.

if Minato wasn't any edo tensei, Tobi pretty easily, he's insanely more powerful now, and can counter all of Minato's kunai with his jinchuuriki. but with edo tensei, the only sealing technique of Tobi's that we know of is Gedo Mazo sealing dragon, and that will probably have the same effect on Tobi that it did on Nagato, not to mention, that like Hanzo, Minato can evade it very easily. But Tobi can also stab Minato with his chakra rods and control him, so he wins most times out of 10, the other times Minato just wears Tobi out due to the strain of controlling jinchuuriki, which he needs to maintain his advantage over Minato.

edit: two other possible counters for Tobi vs Minato are the human path and his warp (although they're not that fast so he needs to hurt Minato badly first and then nail him while he's regenerating). If Minato takes the fight to Tobi it will spell trouble for him though, as he has two choices a. either pull in the jinchuuriki into gedo mazo to use rinnegan or b. hope the jinchuuriki get minato before minato gets tobi

the corrosive liquid only shoot at minato area and his kunai thus he was forced to come into play in tobi area, that's where the real spanking begin any jin in V2 mode can compete with minato speed without FTG,

oh and no tobi won't be there he can sit down on top of the gedo mazo while seeing minato struggling against the 6 bijuu,

and once minato get hit he will regenerate but that's where the edo tensei weakness once they regenerate they can't move freely until they done with they regeneration, tobi can easily step down and suck mijnato into his dimension pocket or using the human path sealing method

You know Minato got sixteen votes and thus third place in a genjutsu poll?

Genjutsu. Seriously. Just goes to show you how retarded some fanboys are and that polls with Minato in them should never be trusted.

Is that why you voted for minato in this thread :flaw:. Anyway apart from mazo there is also human path that tobi has. If you look at the abilities of the paths the idea of minato winning is mind blowing, but also the info tobi has from his first encounter

I'm sure Minato would have something up his sleeve for those mindless jinchuurikis. And I'm sure tobi wouldn't just get all defensive mode and be ghost for all that time till minato is around.

Main point i'm trying to make is Tobi is going to need to touch Edo Minato to defeat him and that isn't happening. That's why the result of this match is inconclusive IMO.

Minato would be everywhere, you can't just shoot corrosive liquid at a place and expect the downfall of minato. If you want the corrosive liquid to work against minato, you'd have to spread it all over the field to catch him. Sit down? Minato knows that Tobi is controlling them. He'd go straight for Tobi  If Minato wants, he can just teleport every jin away into a distance where its out of reach from Tobi. He doesn't need to struggle, he'd just let the beast fight eachother by him being in the middle and these mindless beasts blast eachother into pieces.

lol, if its edo minato, he can take on almost anyone!

minato have infinite chakra and infinite health (regeneration)...

tobi's intagibility have some limits... he cannot remain intangible forever,

minato is smart enough to know that.

he can spread ftg kunai all over ground, and spam ftg like f**k

one sec here other sec there.... tobi will not be able to locate him...

also not to forget, tobi's s/t jutsu is uselesss against minato..

minato is master of sealing... this means sealing him is going to be 10 difficult then a normal ninja due to his knowledge.

also you have to make a person immobile for sometime to seal him, this is just impossible as minato's ftg would just teleport him away.

edo minato > rinnegan tobi.
due to his edo powers.

Also remember, Minato can send those TBB wherever he wants, so can angle them so that they hit the source that they came from. He could've done this in the Kyuubi fight to defeat it but he was wary of destroying more of the village and risking more of the villagers lives. Another advantage that Minato gains over the paths.

Are you people really suggesting Edos have infinite chakra? :sy:

Edos don't have infinite chakra.

Tobi wins, I don't think I really need to explain but with Minato fans on the loose I guess I should.

If Minato gets close to Tobi, we all know that Human Path will rip out his soul, no need for sealing. We also know every and all Rasengans will be absorbed through Preta path. His Kunai will either be met with intangibility or evaded. Add 6 Jinchuuriki's attacking Minato at the same time, and this is almost impossible for him to win.

Silly argument. The Jinchuuriki's are Edo. Also, he's not deflecting 6 from different angles now is he? + It would take pretty much all his chakra.

That is a massive misconception. That s/t barrier technique is a variation of ftg and if you go back to that fight, you'd see that he had an ftg kunai. Due to him having ftg tags all over konoha he can transport the tbb to another location where there are ftg seals. Unless he has ftg tags on an opponent, no he cannot teleport a technique right back at them

Secondly depending on the size and the chakra it consumes. Teleporting 6 bijuu dama would cost him all his chakra. Before you say edo tensei grants infinite chakra, thats another misconception. If he does teleport it, he will be the 2nd mizukage after joki boy, extremely exhausted or like the muu when he couldnt use dust release after he split Seriously?

Tale beast or not it means nothing against Minato who could even take advantage of this. Why i tell that? Cause TBB are so huge that it will be easy for Minato to mark them. And if he marks them it will be easier for Minato to beat them. Cuz besides the fact he could teleport to them and kill or seal them, he could also teleport all their attacks. For example, if they use TBB, Minato could teleport that to themselves(cuz they've got the markings), and they will probably die cuz of their own attacks. If Tobi is on the way, he could die also. And the same with Gedo Mazo. Like i've said it's so huge that it will be easy for Minato to put his seals on it, and because Tobi is always near his Gedo Mazo at this current time, Minato could somehow take advantage of this to teleport direct behind him and kill Tobi without he even knows.

the aim is minato and his kunai, he will most likely dodge the liquid and he will forced to play for tobi favor, all his kunai will be marked with corrosive liquid,

with his kunai melt one by one, minato has no choice but to play at tobi field, he can still use his kunai, but once the bijuu get into V2 they can compete with minato speed in FTG, 6 bijjuu in v2 vs 1 ? yup of course it will spell the doom for minato,

oh and by the way that ST barrier work just like FTG minato can only teleport the object to the place where he have his FTG seal, yup it useless since the FTG seal is just around the battlefield,
the bijuu can use this

While in his transformed state, Yagura strikes the opponent with a powerful blow, causing a large formation of coral to quickly grow from the initial point of contact. This then rapidly solidifies and restricts the enemy's mobility, as the substance continues to grow, eventually covering their entire body.

Hey I am saying this would end in a stalemate.

And no, if he can teleport it to where he has kunais, he can strategically place them around the battlefield in order to allow this to happen. Even better, he can, whilst absorbing the TBB, throw a Kunai to a particular place and allow the TBB to teleport wherever. There is a period of time where the TBB is being absorbed which would allow for this.

It's true that it consumes alot of chakra which is a downside for Minato.

I never take versus threads seriously; they rarely, if ever, end well. Why not troll the poll while I'm at it? It's obvious Tobi will win, but I don't like the guy.

Anyone with half a brain, I'd assume, wouldn't take the poll seriously. Don't know why you're making a big deal out of it :|

Fair enough i just thought you were trolling when you said what you said and at the same time, voted. Anyway i dont vote in poll results after like a month of joining for obvious reasons xd

Because you make the half wits who think Minato would win think they are more and more correct
