i don't know much but if minato can't be revived with edo tensei who was in the third coffin in the fight between oro and hiruzen?

That was Minato. Or specifically, that was Orochimaru's failed attempt at summoning him. It didn't work because Minato's soul isn't in the afterlife.

Yeah, a lot of people were confused by that. The 3rd did say that he had to stop that one at all costs, but when it actually failed, he said he had no idea how he did. Kabuto explained exactly why about 40 chapters ago.

Minato won't be coming back because he's been sealed away for all eternity, not because there's no DNA to be found. You leave DNA EVERYWHERE, and even Orochimaru got his DNA in his attempt to summon him about 500 episodes ago. And Kushina could easily be brought back, she died without being sealed away with the technique Minato/Hiruzen used.

I keep on forgetting about that Shinigami, lol. But either way everyone (probably except for the fanboys/girls out there), should know by now that Minato being revived is impossible. It would be nice if we could have seen Minato fight more though besides in the Kakashi Chronicles.

Agreed. However, no one should give up hope on seeing Minato again. Kishimoto said awhile back that he was tossing around the idea of doing a prequel featuring Minato, so hopefully that ends up happening.
