true - but he can't control the beasts when they're locked inside the jinchuriki (see a few chapters back where he fails to pull out the 9 tails)

The sharingan has only been shown to surpress the ninetailed fox when naruto was losing control. Sasuke couldn't surpress Bee's hachibi chakra, so there is nothing to suggest that madara can surpress any of the jinchuriki's chakra.

that being said, it is way to early to tell who would win since:
A) we don't know the extent of the jinchuriki's powers
B) We don't know what kind of upgrades a rinnegan and sharingan afford the jinchurikis.

The Jinchuuriki's would win. Madara's strong, but he isn't a god.

I am going with the tailed beast host on this one.
Because Madara, while powerful is having a hard time with just the 5 kages in a weekend state. Tailed beast are at least kage level and there is more of them. 3 of them can control the beast and thus release the full power of that beast. The rest can use their abilities up too a certain point and do not have to even interact with the beast, like garra.

He cant control it but remember when Sasuke when inside Naruto and burst the tails chakra? I don't think any Host can be match with Madara.
Ex: how is any host gonna survive an attack like the 2 huge rocks he release in the war?

Yagura can reflect Mokuton and make mirror clones of madara. roshi can melt susanoo. all of them are immune to genjutsu theoretically since their teamwork can break each other out of it. Ukatate can explode bubbles in madara's face. Fu can blind Madara with her secret jutsu.

but madara is toying with 5 kages so yeah.
