Edo Madara had the best fights, one-liners, and a sense of mystery about him. He also had an amazing entrance. And, at the time, he just seemed invincible; at the time Edo Madara entered the war, he gave off more threatening vibes than Oro/Pain/Juubito/Kaguya ever did, imo.

True but plot was too much in his favor at that time.

Edo Madara had the best fights, one-liners, and a sense of mystery about him. He also had an amazing entrance. And, at the time, he just seemed invincible; at the time Edo Madara entered the war, he gave off more threatening vibes than Oro/Pain/Juubito/Kaguya ever did, imo.

Best post so far. This made him one of the best villains in the series.

He wasn't really more powerful than Juubito, who we'd already seen, though... everyone was just too exhausted / spread out to face him properly. Too be honest, I felt that everything went way too easily for him. People were slow to respond to everything he did, and it didn't seem to be thanks to Madara's own effort; it just felt like everyone else was incompetent at the time.

uh...even in his final moments as an edo tensei he knew he was capable of bringing down juubito even before using the rinne tensei option. alive madara > edo madara (alive madara can use limbo, still use susanoo, has sage mode and is in full power.)
