How so ?

Edo Madara and Rin'negan Obito would win quite easily. Technically this fight happened in the manga briefly, and for the most part, the best team two could do was have Naruto continually thwart attacks with his chakra. Team two was the team that foguth Obito only, and they had many problems with him alone. Edo Madara being on Obito's team would mean Team 1 wins.

Edo Madara and Rin'negan Obito would win quite easily. They had problems with Obito only because they lacked knowledge. From the moment they aquired the necessary knowledge, they were starting to stomp him until Edo Madara came to save his ass. With current knowledge, it would even be easier with Kakashi's kamui+clone strategy being deadly against Obito. I see Obito getting finished relatively quick. The difference in the manga is that by the time Edo Madara came, team2(mainly Kakashi and Gai) were relatively exhausted. If they were healthy, things would have gone much more differently. Infact Edo Madara has no counter for Kamui, let alone Jubi warping Kamui

Obito alone was pretty much equal to all 4 of them combined...adding Madara would be rape

Give Obito his Jinchuuriki, then his team might stand a chance. As it is, Team 2 destroys.

-Naruto alone has more firepower and better durability than Madara's PS.

-Mokuryu is destroyed with a Biju Dama like in canon.

-Naruto can share chakra with Kakashi so he can make a Kamui big enough to warp PS while protecting Kakashi inside his BM avatar.

-While Naruto and Kakashi deal with Madara, Killer Bee holds Obito off as the latter can't warp him while Bee is in BM. Once they're done with Madara, Kakashi negates Obito's Kamui, allowing Naruto or Bee to nuke the shit out of him.

-Gai isn't needed.

Yeah, but this time they start side by side. So Madara goes straight into PS and Obito can start off straight with Kamui Katon or Kamui Katon. They're not smashing PS any time soon when they also have to worry about surprise attacks from Obito. Obviously with intel they'll beat Obito alone, but the raw DC and threat Edo Madara is here puts them on their heels right away and they won't win. Now, make this let's say, BM Minato instead of Killer Bee, I can see them winning. Plus, we might be technically nerfing Gai in this fight, as he technically solo's this with 8th Gate (well he gets rid of Madara by himself and the rest of the team can gang up on Obito).

How so ?

Edo Madara alone can decimate Gai and Kakashi with a single swipe of his blade, meaning they both have to stay inside Naruto's BM avatar, therefore Gai in this fight is almost entirely useless, considering he can't fight (Taijutsu) properly.

Mokuryu temporarily restrains BM like it did in canon, and Madara casts Tengai Shinsei while this is happening. Bee is the only one who can do something in that situation, but Madara would be pressuring him with Mokuton Clones and Madara can instantly drop a second meteor, Bee hasn't shown the capability of firing more than 5 Bijuudama, twice in a row.

Adding Obito here just makes it worse.

Team 2 win. With current knowledge, Obito won't be a problem this time.

Kakashi knows he can engage Obito properly without worrying about his phasing by entering the kamui dimension or sending a clone there. This way, Obito can't phase, otherwise he'll be killed. With a clone of either BM Naruto or Kakashi in the kamui dimension, Obito can't do jack, he's better off hiding in Madara's Susanoo.

If Kakashi can kill off Obito, then Madara isn't much problem. BM Naruto and BM Killer Bee will struggle against Madara because of the wood dragon. But Naruto knows he can make BM clones and attack Madara, and even break the wood constructs. So this time it won't be a problem. Continuous tbb and Hirudora will finish Madara.

The knowledge and intel makes a huge difference. They won't experience the same problems this time.

Oh not at all
Bakufuu Ranbuu would have killed Gai and Kakashi if not for Naruto,and Bee was pretty much a non factor in the fight as he was defeated with chakra chains

With current knowledge, it would even be easier with Kakashi's kamui+clone strategy being deadly against Obito

To be fair Obito claimed that controlling 1 Rinnegan took a great toll on him

Infact Edo Madara has no counter for Kamui,

Mokuton would overwhelm Kakashi and Perfect Susanoo ends the fight instantly and im sorry but Kakashi is a fodder when compared to Madara

BM Naruto and B, the main factors in this fight, had issues taking out Obito's Jinchuuriki, and there were only 5 of them as Son Goku had been freed. Add Madara to that and you have a dead Team 2.

I didn't give Obito his Jinchurikis. I thought the restriction of Jubi was clear enough but i guess i should detail in OP
