Edo Madara and Other Questions

Ok as the title implies what is your opinion on what happens to Edo Madara?

First of all the reason i bring this up is that a lot of people seem to believe that Sasuke will not meet Itachi. If that happens than the latter will face Kabuto soon(the fact that kishi showed Itachi last chap would seem to suggest that he will now be given some screen time). HOWEVER, as i cannot possibly envision a Kabuto vs Itachi meeting ending in anything other than Kabuto's ass on a plate, won't that mean that the Edo tech also ends? i.e If Itachi kills/ puts under genjustu Kabuto, does'nt that mean we won't get to see anymore of the real Madara?


Because i wanted to find out how the real Madara knew Nagato, and just what exactly his connection is to Tobi and the Eye of the moon plan.

It says the edo person will remain alive even if the summonsed dies, because in your case if itachi kills kabuto itachi will die too..

Edo tensei ONLY ends when kabuto does the hand signs to undo it if kabuto dies the edos will roam free until they're sealed

Now don't rush into thinking this, after all Itachi broke himself out of Kabuto's control so we don't know if he's bound to the same laws as the Jutsu would normally hold. For all we know he might have just become immortal(Highly Unlikely)!

Idk but it wouldnt be hard for itach to make kabuto do the handseals to end it I think so.. but I would be disappointed if Madara would just be defeated like that without a battle or giving us some info about what happened we'll never know then if itachi made kabuto just end the jutsu

It is said that even if Kabuto stopped the jutsu, the Edos wouldn't disappear. So that means the Edos that are still alive would either would have to be captured and sealed, or live forever. Again, whoever created this jutsu was EXTREMELY stupid for making it. Leave the dead the hell alone.

a while back tobi doubted the edo tensei saying 'there must be a drawback', so this is what itachi is talking about, let's wait and see

Thanks for the mostly positive responses everyone. Just to clarify, if placed under genjutsu and forced to make the handsigns and say release, the edos all turn to dust, Itachi included.

But the real question is would kishi allow Madara to go so easily, with so little revealed....?

With Kishi behind the wheel...you never know if he'll do the obvious or pull something completely random out. I would assume Madara still has some story time left seeing as yes, there are alot of unanswered questions.

But the general rule for genjutsu is that it can be canceled if another chakra source interrupts it. Considering Kabuto has Orochimaru's cells he might be able to break Itachi's genjutsu if he were to cast it.

I'd like to know what was in Orochimaru's secret room that Suigetsu found so interesting. It's something that could change the entire war, and I have a feeling Kabuto didn't even know about it.

madaras gonna be sealed by tsunade... while he is killing onoki and the raikage...
im not too sure but he isnt gonna go so easily

i think tobi is izuna - madaras brother...
(btw kabuto is stronger than itachi , i mean edo alone is too much for itachi to handle , let alone medical nin,chakra absorbtion,oros techniques,similar speed,personal healing... its too much for anybody to handle... even naruto , so imo itachi vs kabuto wont happen and if it does kabuto wins mid-low diff)

Edo Madara is going to survive for a significant amount of time, imo. I just think that his presence is essential to push the plot along in terms of Tobi's identity. I'd be really, really disappointed if we saw little to no more of him in the manga.
