he brought down meteors,used magatamas,used susanoo,used flower world which IIRC was base hashi's top move,used 25 susanoo clones,used advent,used preta. Even if he didnt go all out,he wasnt just toying with them,he got himself into a near fatal situation and had to pull of a clone feint to escape.

He was an edo,he had no chakra limit,the kages had chakra limits,and were exhausted by the time he brought out PS.

Hashi uses moukton,the kages know what to expect,plus the kages are all rested,and hashi isnt an edo. His healing wont save him from a jinton,or a sand coffin,or being dissected,4 of the 5 kages can do all that.

Madara killed them off panel?,hashirama died off panel too,whats your point?.

madara didnt go all out,but wasnt exactly playing. He dropped meteors,used 25 complete susanoos,used preta,used moukton and ps. When guy faced 30% kisame,he didnt use 6th gate until later,once he opened it,he beat kisame at once,you cant say guy toyed with kisame beacuse he didnt use the gates from the start can you?. The kages survived the onslaught for a good amount of time while exhausted.

Hashirama never died off panel. His death has just not been shown yet. Whereas, Kishi literally just skipped over the kages' defeat.
I understand what you're going on with the jutsu he used. But he did use all of them to test them, but there were times he was backed into a corner because of his games.

Susano'o and deva path - he was forced into that because of their good combination attacks. He even commended them on it right before retaliating.

When he used magatami, it was just after they forced his susano'o. He specifically said "...but how is your defense". Of course he was using lethal moves, but he was still test them.

Shattered heaven, he wanted to see how they would contend with that especially considering his edo body would repair.
Mokuton jutsu and FTW were all to test their defense to see if they would survive these attacks.

Susano'o clones were a game by him. He said something along the lines of "It's been 5v1 all this time. Let's see how you do against 5 opponents". I can't be bothered to find manga pages because they've been removed from this site, but they're easy to find.

Madara was using lethal jutsu to try to kill the hokage, but to say he was trying is just not true. There were situations that his laidback games did almost lead to his downfall, however.

Hashirama has a massive chakra pool. Madara fought for 24 hrs with his EMS and hashirama was still able to bring someone like that down. It's obvious that hashirama has a massive chakra pool also.
The Gokage barely survived 25 Susano'o clones. Hashi will most likely be able to use that, except that when they're beaten, he's going to summon them again. The gokage could hardly contend with mokuton when madara playfully used it. They're not going to contend with it if hashirama goes all out.

They're most likely going to survive due to tsunade healing them or they're have died. Tsunade should be dead herself. In anycase it's clearly plot that has them alive right now. Nothing stopped madara from stabbing them while they were down. Not like they would be able to defend it while unconcious.. they possibly just have more to offer the story.

muu and 2nd mizukage also died off panel too. Dying off panel dosent make you weak.

Yes,he used it to test them,but in the hand of any other non edo shinobi,or even a non edo madara,it wont be just to test, he used them so casually beacuse he knew he would not loose chajra nore die from his jutsus. If he was non edo,he would have died from his own meteor while gaara and onoki survived,but beacuse he was,he judt played it off. See the difference between when he us an edo and not?.

The other jutsus he used even if to test,were all very lethal.

The moukton he used playfully,were actually couuntered by the kages,and were all equal to the ones hashi used when serious as it was said that it the same as hashi's jutsu,yhe kages have intel on the flower,the mayfly,the forests and the clones.

If the kaes could combine well enough to push madara into a corner more than once,i see no reason they can't do the same to hashi. Hashirama's wood clones dont have susanoo,and as such wont be as troublesome as madara's version which had complete susanoos with legs whereas IIRC the susanoo he used against hashi had none. So it's not like they will be as strong as those ones.

Hashi is a senju,so he naturally has good chakra,he fought for 24 hrs,true,but gaara had been fighting for 48 hrs before edo madara showed up,and A has bijuu chakra too,so the kages have good chakra monsters as well and with combinations,the strain of using their jutsu will reduce and they can fight for even longer time.

The kages also have a good idea of what to expect from hashirama as well,having seen the wood clones they would most likely have gaara use his sand sensing to make sure no hashi gets a surprise attack from any angle.

Maybe madara thought they were dead,who would think that a bissected woman is alive?xd

all i am saying is hashirama cant fodderize the kages
