They were edo tenseid by Kabuto, then given to Obito to use as paths.

Without Kabuto summoning them with edo tensei, Obito has no paths in a versus battle.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Obito controlled them with his black rod chakra.

Obito intended to use the Bijuu's power for the war even before Kabuto came to help. Only place where Kabuto "helped" was to give him edo jinchuriki bodies to sink the Bijuus inside them before war, but Akatsuki already had dead bodies from Jinchuriki captured besides Gaara, so he could have done the same thing if he wanted even without Kabuto. The only difference is that they wouldn't have regenerative abilties that gives Edo

Thread soloed. Even if Kabuto died without doin edo tensie seals, edo jinch would still be around. So therefore they are part of Obito's power.

Without kabuto he doesnt have "edo" paths, he has real paths, like nagato's.

I'm specifically talking about the Edo Jinchurikis he used. Without Kabuto's intervention, he wouldn't have had those specific paths.

You are saying that he could have made Paths regardless, but in that case you are just speculating since it never happened and are giving Obito paths he never actually obtained.

If Obito can use the Jinchuriki Paths he obtained from Kabuto's jutsu, Kakashi can use a KM cloak whenever he wants as well.

Yes, its true that he cannot use edo jinchuuriki.

However the fact that he can use regular paths is not speculation, but rather a logical assumption based on facts. I will explain to you why it is logical & almost certain that obito could do what nagato did, plus more.

1. Weakest form of proof:

- During the kage summit obito tells us that he planned on using the power of the bijuu, take it as you may but it makes more sense for obito to be referring to the bijuu themselves rather than the gedo statue. Both are controlled by outer path btw.

2. Undeniable proof:

Its been stated that obito has a more powerful outer path binding than nagato's (feats & hype suggest so). The outer path is the path that grants the user mastery over life (rinne tensei) & death (paths of pain). It also allows the user to summon & control the gedo statue.

Now with all this in mind what does that tell you? Well due to lack of feats we can't say that obito's rinne tensei > nagato's...however we can for certainty say that obito's outer path binding power & ability to control the gedo statue are both vastly superior to nagato's. Obito may have had senju & uchiha dna which makes it easier for him but that only strengthens the fact that uchiha/senju dna empowers the rinnegan's abilities, specifically outer path's gedo statue (which is important for the final piece of evidence).

3. The "real" proof:

As you can see, son goku clearly tells us that the link binding the bijuu to the gedo statue is a product of the rinnegan. Also if we pair this up with the fact that the from their then we can safely conclude that the power to bind the bijuu to their respective corpses via the gedo statue is all thanks to the rinnegan's outer path, which is empowered via uchiha/senju dna.

Basically the point here is that obito has more than enough feats to show us that he can control the bijuu, he's shown us a superior outer path binding power & control over the gedo statue, nothing suggests he can't do what he did without edos.

& final note, the power to revive corpses & turn them into paths of pain is also a product of the outer path. Since obito's binding power > nagato's then it is almost certain that he can control the same amount of paths, especially since he is within such close proximity.

Kakashi can't use KM cloak because he doesnt always have naruto's chakra..:|

I wouldn't consider them his own power, since Kabuto could simply release Edo Tensei.
If Kabuto died before releasing ET, then yes, they would become his own arsenal.

But in a versus battle?

Obito had sealed all the Bijuu inside the Gedo Statue by the time people like to use him in battle (War Tobi, or Fan Tobi as I like to call him). Now I agree with you about the Bijuus, there isn't much denying that the Rinnegan both sealed them into the Gedo and allows him control over them.

The issue is that if people want Tobi to be able to use the Bijuus in a versus, that would mean summoning the Bijuu, expelling the Bijuu from Gedo, then reestablishing them in their hosts. I'm not expert on the Rinnegan, but I can imagine expelling and reestablishing the Jinchuriki would take a signifigant amount of time.

It took at least a half hour for the Gedo and Rinnegan to extract a bijuu (Gaara Retreival Arc), and I doubt the expulsion process would take less time (It might, due to the absence of a seal restricting the beast).

I completly agree though that if Tobi can expel and establish the Bijuu, he would have complete control over them and be able to use them.

No see you're suggesting that obito can't start out without the paths already created.

Its not prep to have the paths set up, its different from edo tensei & similar to the paths of pain. You wouldnt call the paths "prep" now would you? Obito uses the paths like bodyguards.

In order to make the paths an effective attack all obito has to do is use the rods on the corpses & bind them to the jinchuuriki, when I use obito in a vs i use the one in my sig, right before he fought naruto. This obito has access to all of his jutsus + control of the jinchuuriki, they are already able to be used as such because they are the same type of paths that nagato uses.

i follow this logic:
pain's own paths were originally independednt leiving people. but they arent anymore. pain has them.
samehada originally belonged to kisame. now its bee's sword.

it doesnt matter what a weapon originally belonged to. it matters who it belongs to right fukin now. you could even say obito and kabuto share the jins like jiraiya and naruto share gamabunta.

I think this is a fair response.

I can accept that.

Never really thought about it like that, I guess it doesnt really matter if they're edos or not.
