Edo itachi vs gaara.. At a park

Knowledge: gaara knows of the sharingan, itachi knows that gaara has a fetish for sand.

Scenario: itachi is throwing a party for being alive again, gaara shows up when he wasn't invited. Itachi is pissed and completely stops barbecuing.

Distance: 50ft, gaara is in a sandbox, itachi by the grill

I accept this response but you didn't keep in mind all of the conditions, Only the conditions that you wanted to see. In this scenario itachi is PISSED and COMPLETELY STOPS barbecuing. lmao not that the barbequeing has any role in this but the distance is also 50ft. a simple body flicker will decrease that to incredibly close distance.

I did try and make this a somewhat fair fight by taking out mangekyou and giving gaara a sandbox but it still leans to itachi in his favor; to a lesser degree of that thread where gaara was in the desert and itachi is sick. Anyways, with the intel given, gaara KNOWS OF the sharingan. itachi is a master of it and uses genjutsu to the extent that people compliment him for. Gaara needs to know the sharingan and the underlying content of it, not only the surface content of it.

Gaara loses fairly easy. Sorry I win.

They are extreme fanboys, every thread with Gaara in it these two guys are always there saying how Gaara would win, l don't take them seriously any more.I thought Itachi/Sasuke fanboys were bad but I would honestly take Sasukesixpax over USSJ moron.

USSJ is particularly retarded, i thought he was trolling at first but he seems to actually take it seriously. The funny part is he always writes down how the battle would pan out. No matter how strong the opponent is, he somehow twists everything in order to make Gaara win in the end. After that he argues with everyone in the thread when he is the only guy siding with Gaara about how everyone else is wrong and he is right :sy:

I'm trying to imagine how gaara would manage if he were in that situation, but in a different setting where he has a set amount of sand he can use.

I could see itachi opening the fight with his signature grand fireball technique since he is rather quick with it and we've seen a lot of times him using that first. to be fair let's say gaara attacks with his sand at the same time; I would think he'd have to pull back the sand to defend from the giant fireball. it would have to be a decent amount of sand to get coverage. decent amount meaning all the sand he's given. I would believe this would give a big enough opening for itachi to formulate a plan so that gaara could not use his sand in an offensive manner.

He can use a descent amount of sand to block the fireball with his gourd sand while using the sand from the sand box to attack from above with his rain of sand,fire dosent really burn sand,he can attack and defend at the same time,also since itachi has some intel on gaara,he will know that getting close will be troublesome,as well as getting past his auto defence,since he is an edo,he has no chakra issues,so he will probably think of something.

However gaara also knows of his genjutsu capabilities as well,i dont think there is much water in a park to use his water dragon tech is there?,if gaara goes into his sand sphere which he can use his gourd sand alone for,then use the sand in the sandbox to attack,it will be difficult for itachi to get close,gaara can reuse his sand if he misses itachi,since it is only 3T,itachi can't really break out of a sand coffin/burial. If itachi decides to shushin,it might be a bad idea,as gaara's sand blocked enton/amaterasu(not sure which one anymorexd))three times consecutively quite easily from a rather close range position,he might get blocked,and if he does he is in big trouble,however if he manages to genjutsu gaara,he better pick a paralysis genjutsu,cuz the tricking type wont wotk as his sand protects him from self harm as well,if he manages to hit gaara with a paralysis genjutsu,he would get a chance to finish gaara up,but would he be able to kill him?,his defencce works while he sleepsxd,it will still be blocking his attacks,or wrap gaara in a sand shield.
