Itachi would have a problem defeating adult Sasuke if he was not an edo; although it would still be possible.

Indras Arrow can be negated with Yata Mirror. Itachi already showed himself to be able to battle against the Rinnegans Techniques when he defeated Nagato and Sealed him.

Itachi as an edo cannot be killed (unless Sasuke releases the Jutsu which i'm assuming he cant). And Sasuke has no way of Sealing Itachi other than Chibaku Tensei. Chibaku Tensei on the other hand proved to be a problem for Itachi as he needed both Naruto and Killer Bees help when Nagato performed the Jutsu.

So i guess it would come down to whether Sasuke can trap Itachi with Chibaku Tensei before Itachi Seals him with Totsuka Blade.

Tsukuyomi would not work against Sasukes Rinnegan.

However that said, Itachis is still more advanced when it comes to tactical battle skill.

I know, I was just saying how Sasuke could negate Yata and Totsuka. Once he's gotten himself inside behind Yata mirror and Itachi's Susanoo, Itachi will be open to Chidori or Amateratsu. Sasuke could also swap Itachi outside of his Susanoo leaving him vulnerable.
