I still reckon he wins. One ST used by Deva almost broke every bone in Bunta's body.

Anyways, as long as Deva can use shinra tensei to make the 5 elemental atack combo fly away and the black rods he wins. Deva's taijutsu combined with the rods and universall pull were enough to give SM Naruto a run for his Money, Hiruzen is lost here.

Is there any proof that Kurama was exerting any force back while Enma pushed him to the outskirts of the village? IIRC, 5TKN was in the air too and so had gravity on his side.

This. As Deva doesn't rely on them unless he desperately needs to. Hiruzen can finish this off before he runs away.

Plus Hiruzen's range on ninjutsu won't even give him time to use them.

Doubtful considering Enma pushed a construc far greater in size and power out of the village.

Deva still stomps.

Hiruzen can only delay his "death" by using Kage Bunshin feints, basic, single element attacks are worthless against top tier shinobi.

And the five second limit is worthless considering a team of Kakashi, Chouji and Chouza couldn't pull an attack off quick enough between them, despite it being planned. Edo Hiruzen is still an old man at the end of the day.

i think hiruzen has enough counters to put a fight and win

shinra tensei can be countered by enma transforming into a protective cage around hiruzen and preventing him from getting hurt [

bansho tenin countered by throwing human sized shurikens or any elemental ninjutsu while he is getting pulled, deva will be forced to dodge the incoming attack and stop using bansho tenin, or he could just smack him with enma as it can extend

hiruzen is certainly smart enough to analyze and figure out about the five second interval, he correctly found out that obito cannot maintain his technique for longer duration of time
and after that it only a matter of time before he gets deva path
