Edo Gai wouldn't die because of the 8th Gate, so he basically has the 8th Gate forever and can regenerate. So yeah, who'd win?

Madara, Sasuke, Itachi...Naruto, Hashirama and Minato... Kakashi and Bee vs Hashirama

Restrictions: No Totsuka Blade nor mirror for Itachi, and NO Kamui for Kakashi

Gai can fight without looking at his opponents' eyes and it's been said before. He simply wouldn't look at Itachi's eyes and murder Minato first because of his sealing jutsu.

He didn't do that with Edo Madara nor anyone else, in fact, he lost his arms while trying to do it, so stop with the fanboyism.

Itachi doesn't only cast genjutsu w/ his eyes, he has other ways. He pointed at Naruto and caught him in a genjutsu.
Oro attempted to attack a 14 yr old Itachi but Itachi just activated his 3-tomoe sharingan and caught him in a paralysis genjutsu (Oro didn't look at Itachi's eyes at any point though, he just looked at his back).
Naruto attempted to not look at Itachi during his 2nd encounter w/ him in Shippuden, but Itachi just summoned crows which flew into Naruto's train of sight that caught him in a genjutsu.
That's why Kabuto had to shut off his sight and rely on his sensory abilities in order to fight Itachi. Gai has no sensory abilities.

Minato is intelligent and has FTG. I doubt that he would just stand there and let Gai hit him. He isn't getting "murdered".

Why make it such a one-sided argument? It's obvious you're playing to Gai's advantage here, while limiting the other team. Even still, team two wins. Plus, couldn't Madara bring Gai back to life? It makes sense since he has the Rinnegan. And if that happened, Gai would die.

] and jokey boy doesn't even endanger one's life like gates do, so the repercussions of the jutsu on Gai would be near identical to his alive self. With a Hiraishin user on the team, Gai would never touch them if they want to play defensive all the time and take advantage of Gai's struggle to seal him up
