Only 5 minutes of 8th gate almost killed Sage Madara, the most powerfull character ever. Imagine what non-stop 8th Gate could do!

I don't think he is unbeatable as an edo simply because most of the top 10 shinobi have sealing techs. Hashirama can easily beat 8th gate gai by using bringer of darkness and the bind gai with his sealing and suppressing jutsu that even binded the juubi.


Itachi or Danzo would actually be the most op edo's. Itachi as an edo is invincible as zetsu claimed his alive self would be with totsuka and yata combo but his alive self had many weaknesses that made this invincibility false. Edo Danzo can spam izanami and make the fight last forever. Edo Bm Minato is virtually invincible as well albeit except when trying to save someone from a juubi jin, I do admit edo minato ftg is still faster than 7th and 8th gate gai's speed. The actuall attack night moth and evening elephant are super fast but the evening elephant isnt a attack where the user makes physical contact with the target but rather the user thrusts the force of his punch to attack the target at unimaginable speeds, however ftg is instant travel.

there are registrations when you are an Edo Tensei's. Thats why Edo Hashirama > Edo Madara. but when madara got revived he wrecked everybody.

but ya the point here is Gai > Narutoverse which i agree with. Thats was like the best shit we have seen in this war arc.

Madara could of done everything what he did to others while in EDO mode but he wasn't enjoying it due to not being able to feel of pain...

I don't think you know what we mean when we use the word solo. To solo someone you have to fight them individually, which gai did not do. 2 times he was saved, once by lee and the other by minato. Also you have to win or kill the opponent, gai also failed to do this too. It seems madara is still alive, and madara is capable of fighting whereas gai is not at the moment.

He really didn't even solo kisame. Kisame lived and wasn't at full power either and lived to fight enough to finish is mission out and then kill himself. So we can technically say gai subdued kisame but nothing more.

He can't use it nonstop even as an edo. It constantly destroys your body, so it'll stop eventually. However, with regen, he can use it over, and over again.
