This isn't true. Amaterasu burns until the object it hits is burnt down. It doesn't prevent regenerating at all. Edo tensei has been shown to regenerate in large chunks and not slowly. If amaterasu would hit an edo it would at most be disabled for a short while.

Also this thread should be in vs if posted at all, it also isn't a decent comparrison since an edo is a technique and not a person. It would be like Tenten vs Kankuros puppet.

However, Edo Nagato didnt start to regenerate until Amaterasu was blown off from him.

As I said the regeneration comes chunk by chunk most likely it starts when the edo isn't taking damage any more. This would mean that Amaterasu would burn it down or at least burn a large part of it down and then it would regenerate. And as I also said who cares? Edo Asume is not much more then a tool of the user of the technique anyways.

It's not true, it's not more of a sealing technique than water prison jutsu that Zabuza uses. It can temporarily disable an edo tensei sure, but it wouldn't last more than a few minutes at most. It's not much more useful as a sealing technique than 10 people physically holding him down, which by the doesn't count as a sealing technique either.
