People need to realize edo does not make you any stronger or give you any power. Any people claiming "edo" is the only reason why madara is so strong and fked up the 5 kages really need to get a brain. The only reason why madara is edo cause of the story line if he wasn't edo he would not need obito and there would be no conflict.

Not to mention the Sandaime Raikage and the Nidaime Mizukage didn't want to win and were aiding the shinobi (both of them gave direction to their "enemies"). They didn't even really lose, they were sealed.

when person have been brought back from pure world he is just as strong as he was strongest in his time in impure world/ life-time , madara was bit special he was brought back in same principal ems- time of his prime but kabuto completed him beyond that, putting senju cells and allowing him rinnegan and perfect mokuton..
