[Question] Editing a Post

1.How long does it take before the user lose the ability to edit a post?
2.Upon losing the ability to edit, is there a way to regain it?

I have posted this thread because this is a common issue in the Art contest wherein members post a slot or simply "will be updating soon" and upon finishing the drawing, they find themselves unable to edit thus resulting to posting anew. In the process losing the slot and more unnecessary "spam" are posted.

At least I think so. I've done it when it was a few months ago.

You can edit till 7days after you post I think and if you are not able to edit the post in contest entry, you can always ask a mod of that section or organizer, provided he is a mod to edit it for you..
No you can't regain the ability to edit the same post after the time expires, unless you're a mod...

Where would you even find it when it is saved as a draft?
