Eating the fruit of the God Tree

Ive been wondering, since it hasnt even been stated the fruit will re-appear again why is everyone making threads about who will eat it?

Men (more specifically Kaguya Otsustuki) stole/obtained chakra from eating the fruit of the god tree, so if the
fruit has been eaten and the Shinju is still trying to get its chakra back then why would the fruit appear?

What are your thoughs/opinions on the fruit,
do you want someone to eat it?
If so, who?

I personally want the recollection/backstory of how chakra/the sage
was introduced to be the end of the chakra fruit chronicle.

They're hoping that someone will so they can become the new SO6P. It won't happen, but they want it to.

I think the real reason they think that is because they think it wouldn't have been mentioned otherwise.

Sakura has no relevance to the Shinju or the Sage, so I have to disagree.

Eating that fruit caused the madness that is happening. I can only see a villainous character eating it, and the only two that we have now either don't need it (Obito, he already has all that power), or don't want it (The way Madara spoke, he seems to think eating the fruit is a bad thing for the world, and doesn't want they whole thing to happen again. Orochimaru would be a good candidate, but I don't think he is relevant as a main villain at this point, though you never know with Kishi. Sasuke is a good candidate too, but only if he goes down the villain path, and I doubt that will happen. He is also one of the only people who should have knowledge on it, so it would make sense.
