There is an easy way to escape from titans in case the walls of the district get breached and go to the inner walls

humans can take advantage of their small size and dig underground tunnels in the cities, the entrance to the tunnels can be small holes like this so only humans will be able to enter them

they can have several dozen small tunnels connecting houses or a group of houses to one big main tunnel

most of the titans are downright retarded so they wont figure out a way to get to them like stomping their feet, plus if the tunnels are deep enough even this method wont work

annie was an intelligent titan

how many intelligent titans are there so far? 3, and none of them are hungry for humans

they had 100 years of peace, no titan attacks, i think that was more than enough time to make tunnels in the cities

There are more than 3, I'll say that now. And some of them are stronger than Annie. And we don't know how many others there are, there could be countless others. They could just stomp through the ground and cause cave ins on the humans.

Not only that, but it'd take decades to fully construct that. That's a long time that humans will be out in the open digging and making tunnels, which leaves them vulnerable to Titans.

There are small titans that are like 3 meters tall and could fit in there, and the Titans could just dig too. The Ape Titan is smart and can control Titans so he the Titans digging isn't farfetched. And some Titans like the Colossal Titans could just stomp the ground to create shockwaves and hurt the humans underground. The smaller ones like the Armored Titan, Female Titan, and Dancing Titan could dig, Ymir might be able to enter it considering how small she is. Additionally to create an underground tunnel, and a place to live in for every human will take a really long time especially considering they aren't advanced in technology. Furthermore, how are humans supposed to live? They can't grow trees/fruits nor can they hunt for animals underground.

What if they built little shark cages and attach them to the back of the titans necks, and then use like steel cables to control the titans like puppets......no that's stupid I'm sorry. But if you could live on the back of a titan's neck in a cage that would be cool. Or wait, what if you make a human tattoo gun, and you shoot tattoos of humans on the back of titan's necks so the other titan's think there is a human on the backs of another titan's neck so they attack it! Golly, that's pretty dumb too....Anyway those titans freak me out! Does anyone know how often the manga comes out for that?

titans are stupid, they cant think for themselves, only the titan shifters are intelligent and they only appeared recently as far as the current generations remember
why didnt they build these tunnels keeping in mind the stupid titans atleast?
and even the colosal titan would have to stomp the whole city if he wants to collapse the whole network
they are keeping annie in an underground place, they are very well capable of building this especially with 100 years time
i am not saying that the should live underground, i am saying that they should use these tunnels for evacuation to the inner walls in case the wall gets breached

Not by much, the one Sasha killed is roughly the same size as her. They might be stupid but its proven they can learn stuffs as shown when they climbed trees to try and eat Jean and Armin, they might learn how to dig so they can eat the humans, and the Ape Titan, who's smart, can force them to dig.
I think they already did, didn't they plan to trap Annie underground?
Oh alright, but I think they already have underground tunnel considering they were planning on to capture Annie inside one and she currently is inside one.
