Eastern Crystal Fortress (B04)
The Eastern Crystal Fortress is part of the larger Crystal Fortress superstructure, formed by the Sentinels after they departed from the depths of the Hokubu Sea. The Fortress is characterized by its magnificent crystalline walls and ramparts; within the structure is a city named Amaurot, housing the entire Sentinel civilization. It is highly fortified and teeming with Sentinel guardsmen and soldiers ready to defend and ward away attackers and foreigners that would otherwise be unwelcome in their territory.
The city itself, owing to the achievements of the Sahagin Sentinels, is filled with architecture which would resemble the Hanguri Freehold in its prime, containing skyscrapers and small homes alike. The denizens of Amaurot freely walk and swim through its vast expanse, the city's temperatures kept somewhat regulated via the hydrothermal vent networks sprawling through the bedrock that partitions that cavern from the greater oceans. The Eastern Crystal Fortress is home to the Sahagin tribe of the Sentinels, who are academics first and foremost. Though all Sentinels receive a standard education, those born and raised in the east typically go on to become scholars, magi, and advisors. Their intellect is their weapon, and with it they maintain Amaurot's unnaturally advanced infrastructure and technologies, and continue to innovate, preparing for the day that their civilization expands beyond the borders of the ocean. In the middle of the eastern half, one can find Katharsis, the most exalted academy in all of Amaurot, and by extension the known world.
Located where the east and west half meet is Anamnesis Anyder, the royal palace and dwelling of Lady Aria and her daughter, Dynamene.
