Above, beyond the scope of human sight,
Are fearful realms to mortals yet unknown;
And 'midst the lofty skies of boundless height
Is doubt existing since the days bygone.
And there's the home of all mysterious powers,
Where almighty God doth reign with love divine;
'Tis He that opes the tiny buds to flowers.
From there He sends the dun and moon to shine
And with His stars reveal a heavenly sign.
Beneath the Earthly creatures live and dwell;
The nests and caves are homes to birds and beasts,
While men in cots, their hands have made so well.
In peace they live with satisfying feasts,
For there they drink and bathe in fountains deep,
And from the sod existent wants they get.
And there they have to work, to wait and reap
The fruit produced in terms of blood and sweat;
And then for rest and sleep they go to bed.
