Earth with The Great Typhon

Explain to me what just hit your head and how it relates to us ninja.

-Aiya Sensei... That hurt! Well what just gave me a bruise is a rock made of the earth. This is important to us ninjas because it is one of the basic 5 elements or chakra nature manipulation.

The strengths and weaknesses:

It is superior to Water because water flows towards the rocks and the Earth yet cannot break it. Also, water added to earth just makes mud, it does not destroys it. So jutsu wise, an S-Rank Water = A-Rank Earth.

It is inferior to Lightning due to the fact that lightning cracks through the insides of the earth enabling it to destroy it completely. So jutsu wise, S- Rank Earth = A-Rank Lightning.

It is neutral with the other elements Wind and Fire, fire having no special effects to Earth and vise versa. Wind however can be used in conjunction to hurl rocks, earth, or boulders as such.

Also, Earth can be combined with other elements to make a new one. For example, Earth and Water= Mokuton.

Good except for that part. Fire and Earth can be combined to create lava, or small explosive like attacks. One of the techniques we deal with later will use this.

Now tell me in what ninja use earth and for what purposes. What makes it unique from the other elements (other than the obvious).

-Oops, Earth is mainly used or is used a lot of times as defensive maneuvers like making walls, caves or things like that in battle making a formidable defense. It is unique because it can be used to make weapons for offensive purposes like spears and swords and sticks.-

Something I love about Earth, is its ability to alter the battlefield. Raising cliffs, making pits, creating mountains, volcanoes, etc. It makes it really good at changing the flow of the battle and letting you employ different tactics.

Now, sit on that rock and hold the stone I threw at you in your hands. Focus on the textures, the weight, the rigidity. Meditate on the rock and feel the earth around you.

- I sit on the boulder holding the rock you threw at me. I cross my legs, close my eyes and breath evenly as I meditate and observe the rock silently. The soft and rough sides. The smoothness and the edges. The weight, the texture, what it's made of... I then channel my chakra throughout my body feeling the subtle and heaviness of the earth surrounding me and the boulder which I'm sitting on-

-*Hits me on the head causing my forehead to bleed. But I still ignore it* I reanalyze and feel the impact of the rock, what damage it can do, blunt force and pointed edge... I think to myself ' Will get Typhon back for this...'-

How does your body feel as you focus on the earth? What emotions do you feel?

-Whoa, he read my mind! @_@ I feel strong, sturdy but also calm and level headed able to think thouroughly... My body feels even, and very balanced while focusing on the rock...-

-I am so focused on the rock in my hand now that my mind revolves around it and I block out everything else while just meditating...-

The rock strikes you in the head with a thud, but rather than cutting you the rock itself breaks and crumbles harmlessly against your reinforced skin that is coursing with earth chakra.

Alright, here we go. :scorps:

We will start with the basics. I want you to place your hand on the ground and create an object, of your choosing. Do this three times. Create one offensive object, one defensive object, and one object of whatever you want. Use your earth chakra to shape the earth into the objects, and describe to me how you're doing this.

 

[Byakuya K]

Yes sensei,

-I kneel on one knee and put my left hand on the ground. I channel my new found earth chakra into the earth slowly carving out a chunk of earth. Then as this takes more precision and effort, I put my right hand on the ground as well making my chakra slowly carving the chunk into a smaller and smoother shape. Then lastly, I use my chakra to carve a pointy tip at the top to turn it into a spear.

-Next, I carve out a chunk of earth but this time a little larger and easier to make as I only trim it to be a little taller than me about 6 feet by 4 feet as a defensive wall to stop weapons from hitting me.

-Lastly, I carve out with my chakra and this is a little harder, because I'm not carving it completely off of the ground a little cliff like shape raising one end of the earth up and I stand on top of it and strike a pose with my spear in hand.- :scorps:

Describing it as a cliff makes me think you tried to do too much.
