An extremely versatile jutsu. Channel your earth release chakra into the ground, and use it to create basic tools or pillars of earth. These can be used to launch you into the air, or to create a shield to defend against water, or what have you. The technique is very versatile, and can still be used even if you're an experienced RPer.

Tao plants his feet firmly on the ground and closes his eyes as he focuses on his earth chakra, it slowly moves down to his feet and spreads on the ground around him, with about a two feet diameter. The chakra molds itself into the shape of a small pillar that slowly protrudes up from the ground and stands tall in front of Tao. He now reopens her eyes and is looking right at a pillar in front of himself.

How you would use it in battle: To seperate you from your opponent at extremely close range. It would work better against someone attempting to beat you down with tai.
How you would counter it:Using raiton chakra infused weapons or physical raiton attacks.
How you perform it: I couldn't find any details about it anywhere but I'm guessing you send the chakra into the earth through your feet to manipulate it and cause pillars to protrude from the ground beneath you or around you.
