The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.

I create a small pillar with the earth release technique, I now break off that pillar and focus my doton chakra into it. I now use shape manipulation to change it into a staff which can be used as a melee weapon or can be used as a projectile to throw at the opponent with pin point accuracy. :)

Now this one is another very simple one. You will gather raw chakra and then channel the chakra in their arm all the way through your hands. I want you to nature manipulate the chakra into doton chakra now and release that doton chakra from your hands. You will manipulate the doton chakra on your hands to shape them into small sized rock rings. I want you to create one in one of your hands and send it flying towards the dummy mid range from us. Hit him where ever you want.

Perform the technique:
I now gather doton chakra in my hand. I then use the nature manipulation to make the gathered doton chakra into small earth rocks. I then use the rocks to hit the dummy in the midrange at his Head , hand( to release the kunai) and in the foot.

Creative uses/strengths:
Multi-projectile attack hence it will be difficult for the opponent to dodge at short range. The precision of the attack is the precision of the user. hence better the precision of the user , better the precision of the attack. Can be used as an distraction attack.

Drawbacks/counters:
Since the attack is a projectile attack it can be easily evaded by a skilled ninja. A Drank Earth shield can block this attack . The damage caused by the rock projectiles are far less than lethal. Hence it won't have a that much damaging effects on the opponent.

The user will make the two rock sections come together and crush the opponent together.

It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.

One of my favorite earth jutsus. The user will channel a large sum of there chakra towards the ground making it into quick sand pretty much and sink down in the ground. The performance of the jutsu is fast and leaves no traces whatsoever. While you are underground you can move freely, also you can sense everything what is happening above ground so you can set surprise attacks. While underground performing hand seals is impossible. You can also use only C-Rank earth and below.

Since the rocks are pretty huge the opponent will find it difficult to evade.
Can be used in a combo with Kage bunshins.

Drawbacks/counters:
While controlling the rocks, the user is wide open for the opponent to attack.
Attack will fail if the opponent comes closer to him,as the rock may damage the user.
A two hand chidori can break it.

I now channel a large sum of chakra towards the ground making it into quick sand. I now utilize the quick sand to sink down in the Ground. While in the ground I can sense the movement and everything the happen up and plan my attack.

Creative uses/strengths:
Excellent jutsu for dodging strong Projectile attacks.
Performance of the jutsu is very fast.
Can be used for giving surprise attacks to the opponent.

Drawbacks/counters:
If the opponent uses a Jutsu the breaks the ground as it moves then the user will be very vulnerable.(I won one of my battles like that XD)
The user will be able to use only C rank and below earth jutsu.

Simple but effective technique indeed. You will focus doton chakra towards the ground where your opponent stand and quickly without the need of hand seals you will rise from the ground stone spikes which will pierce the opponent from every direction. They are rather large spikes in length and very sharp.

Okay I like this technique its great for combos. The user will channel doton chakra towards the ground around the area the opponent stands. With no hand seals the user will make the ground shake. It can force the opponent off balance and also fall over this can leave a window of attack open. You can also distract them from using specific attacks.

A lightning plasm shield can counter it easily.
The use can jump and use the wind jutsu to push him from the impact.

Wonderful jutsu for combo.
Can be used in combo with the hiding like a mole technique. user first hides, then creates a tremour so the opponent will loose his balance. then he can come out and chidori him in the chest.

Drawbacks/counters:
Ineffective if the opponent is in mid air
User is wide open when the jutsu is used.
can not do simultaneous combos without a clone while casting

You can also aim on the ground to have a opponent trip over. Its also a projectile technique so you can quickly send another tech without hesitation.

Okay this is best used in a cave then anywhere else. The opponent will control the nearby stone and rock and loosen them up making the whole cave very fragile. The cave will then begin to cave in on itself which can trap multiple opponents and kill them. You can use this to kill multiple opponents.

Can be used the Trip the opponent and can also be used as a distraction.

Drawbacks/counters:
The jutsu doesn't have that much damage to it.
Can be easily dodged by the opponent.
Only good with a combo.

Can be used in locations were there are more cave available.
In the presence of cave, the damage produced by creating rock barrage is very lethal.
Excellent trap jutsu.

Drawbacks/counters:
Is useful only when Inside or outside a Cave.
Normal use wont do any damage or any lethal effect.
If the opponent is aware then he can wasily escape.

Its one of the really basic techs but being able to hit an opponent will hurt their vision as well as push them back. Simplicity is a good thing, by the way. You can create the mud bullets by using a mud source around the area.

An excellent projectile jutsu for combo.
Can be used in combo with a fire style to turn the mud balls in to lava therby increasing the damage of the entile mud ball.
Can be used as a distration technique with a clone performing it.

Drawbacks/counters:
The mud balls created will block the users vision when produced.
Since it is a projectile technique it can be dodged quickly by the opponent.
The user is open and uni directional.

Can be used in combo with earth-fire and also earth-earth.
Can be used as a prejutsu for any jutsu that requires the opponet to be off balance.
When used with a fire jutsu it can produce a deadly combo.

Drawbacks/counters:
The range of the jutsu is short. the river created is at short range and also the length of the mud is only 5 meter.
If the opponent is a pretty long mid range then the jutsu will be rendered useless.




I got a doubt in the second one. What will be the exact counter for this jutsu if the opponent gets caught in the jutsu?

You can use a wind jutsu to blow yourself away from the mud river, you can use nagashi to negate the mud. When you move on with the other elements counters will be much more obvious.

This can be done to create a clear path if anything hazardous is above the ground in that specific area.

An extremely basic defensive technique. The user will place their hands on the ground rising a large wall upfront of them to block frontal attacks. Note the user can not see through the wall. Its sturdy enough to stop most projectile based techniques. Now as said you can not see through the wall so you can be surprised by attacks from the sides, above or even underground so anticipate an attack from those areas.

Drawbacks/counters:

If the rocks are used as defensive mechanisms it may block the users vision and also the user will find it difficult to execute attacks.
Even if the opponent is trapped, they can use a slightly powerful lightning jutsu to escape from the trap.

I now gather doton chaka in my hand and slam the ground , I then manipulate the ground in front of me to form a slap that tilts upwards 90 deg and creates a wall. I then create tow slabs the rise and tilt to the sides to protect form the hazards above.

Creative uses/strengths:
Can be used as a excellent jutsu to block incoming water attacks.
Can also be used to block the enemy's strong projectile attacks.
Can be used to prepared for a sneak attack with the wall and a hiding like mole technique.

Drawbacks/counters:
The sides of the wall is not covered so there can be surprise attacks from the sides.
The enemy can sneek up from the underground and may launch a surprise attack.

Description: This technique lets the user summon a river of mud infront of them. This technique can have water added to it to speed up the flow and increase its power.

The opponent will create a river up front of them and send it towards the opponent, the river is made of mud and runs slow alone, so its best to add some water to speed it up and have a more impact power. If an opponent is caught they will have restricted movement due to the heaviness of the mud as well as be pushed back. The rver goes up to mid long range. After making the mud you cna go onto another tech making it combo friendly. I would personally heat up the mud and give it a higher attack potency. Its also quick to perform but the river is straightforward and easy to evade.

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent by merging with the ground itself. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. The disadvantage with this technique is that merging with the ground is rather slow and while perfomring the technique, the user is vulnerable to high ranked Earth techniques. The user isn't hidden from doujutsu or sensory ninjas and cannot travel beyond the 3 meter deep mark. Moving around in the ground is slow and the user cannot sense very well what is happening above.

This is mainly an evasion jutsu or set up jutsu. The user will slowly drop into the ground for either evading jutsus or escaping tough situations. Its very quick and simple to use. The other main way to use it, is that you can snick attack an opponent, a tough thing is you will be unable to sense anything down their so you must remember the opponents position. Also if an opponent figures out your underground your severely handicapped because you will be unable to perform any jutsu while underground. While rising from the ground though no opponent will be able to notice a disruption since its very silent. Its a great assassination type jutsu.

Perform the technique:
I now gather my chakra and use it to summon a mud river infront of me. Since the flow of the mud river is slow, I use a Suiton jutsu to increase the flow of the river. As the river reaches near the opponent I then use a Fire jutsu to increase the effectiveness of the jutsu.

Creative uses/strengths:
This jutsu is great for combos.
many Fire-Earth combos can be made using this jutsu.
This jutsu can also be used as a mud source for Earth Mud Dragon bullet Technique.

Drawbacks/counters:
The flow of the river is very slow, without a suiton tech the opponent can very easily dodge it.
It has no damaging effect by itself.
Even if used with water, without fire combo it's not very effective.

This jutsu can also be used to escape tuff situations.

The user cannot escape from Dojutsu users and also Sensory ninjas.
The time taken to come out of the ground is pretty long.

Description: The user will first perform the required hand seals Rabbit ? Boar ? Rat ? Horse ? Tiger ? Snake and then by flowing concentrated chakra from one's palms into the Dragon Veins flowing underground, one can tear the earth apart, creating large chasms by firstly raising the earth in the desired location and then splitting that peice of earth through the center. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth appart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.

After doing the required hand seals and placing their hands on the ground they concentrate chakra into the dragon veins of the ground and split the ground apart. The user has full control how and where they want the earth to be torn, this is very efficient jutsu to change the terrain in your favor. For example splitting the ground between you and the opponent this can stop a fast opponent from getting in close as well as push them back. A problem with the jutsu is it takes some time to perform as well as execute, this can easily leave you open for attacks. If their is a dramatic terrain change you can use this to manipulate it in your favor. As shown in the anime the trees were filled with Amaterasu flames, Yamato split the earth apart where they flames where so they can bypass them unharmed.

This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack although it can also do some damage or be udes to destroy enemy earth techniques of equal rank and bellow.

A basic deception attack, after doing the hand seal and slamming their hand on the ground. The ground ahead of the user and up to mid-range begins to shake slightly, which will not hurt the balance but its what happens. Chunks of rocks will pop out very quickly. This is meant to shock or decieve the opponent in thinking its an attack where it really does not, so the opponent will react and go on the defensive or change their stance. You can quickly attack right after you slam your hand on the ground making it a nice jutsu for combo. You can also flee the area if needed in the NW.

While performing the jutsu the user is completly open to the opponents attack.
No real damaging effect, and also requires precise chakra control.

I now perform the snake hand seal and slam my hand on the ground. The ground ahead of me upto midrange shake slightly, It creates a rocks to pop out and attack the opponent, as the opponent is distracted by the rocks, I then use a powerful jutsu to finish him off.

Creative uses/strengths:
Excellent jutsu for making combos
This jutsu can also be used as a escape technique.

Drawbacks/counters:
The jutsu is reduced to mid range so it's not possible to distract a opponent at long range.
While performing the sneak attack, the user has a chance to get hit by their own rocks.
The opponent can easily escape the jutsu with a same rank earth barrier or a hiding like mole tech.

Description: After performing the snake ? Seal of Confrontation and then by encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.

Okay the user will send doton chakra through his arm encasing it with pure rock. With it the opponent is able to block techniques as well as deliver hard punches. Great for short range battle and simple to use, its purpose is simple as well. It has two hand seals. Your speed on the arm though is slowed down due to the extra weight.


(Doton: Ton'neru chika no Jutsu) - Earth Release: Tunneling Technique

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Ram ? Dog ? Rat ? Bird is able to create a wide tunnel in the ground, this cannot travel through rock though or anything with a high density. The large tunnel that is created allows the user to transport others without detection.
Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.

The user will perform 4 hand seals and create a hole on the ground which is a tunnel that can run long range. It can't though travel through high density rocks or material. So using it in mountain type terrains would be impossible. Using it on soil or a field is best. Now you can move through this tunnel but its not like hiding like a mole. You will not sense anything going on from above through a magnetic wave. You can though send the tunnel towards any area on the field. Its good to send clones or small summons through to set up a combo attack.
