Earth style the strongest element...?

It would seem that earth style has been downplayed until the combustion user deidarra. i know people prefer water, lightning, fire, wind over earth but its really the strongest element justu.
but then again, im sure everyone is entitle to their own opinions. you thoughts on this topic

I think earth style can be the best of them, but i guess it depends ...
Water - Healing (mainly)
Lightning - Massive Damage (mainly)
Fire - Strong (idk much about this one)
Wind - Defense and Attack
Earth - Equilibrated

They all have their pluses and minuses

Water, good against a lot of enemies, requires heavy sums of chakra
Lighting, very critical and deadly towards 1-3 people
Wind, very well-rounded, can be ranged, physical and used in several situations
Earth, good against a medium amount of enemies, more defensive uses in most cases
Fire, completely offensive, strong and in the case of Amaterasu (The number one strongest fire technique), unextinguishable (only under very special cases)

It depends on the terrain in my book...

I mean my favorite is water style and I find it the best because its the most versatile of the 5 elements.

The thing is, most battles are done on dry land so of course an earth user would be really helpful although if two people were to fight in the air or in water, well then that earth user is screwed x)

Each element has their own strength and weaknesses. Fire is one of the destructive, yet it is the most difficult to control. Water is flexible and large amounts can cause massive damage making the best overall, but not great for defense. Earth provides the greatest defense and is a powerful offense, yet is the least flexible and is prone to have weak points. Lightning offers the least flexibility and defense, but the most speed and penetrating power. Wind is similar to water, yet it is faster, more penetrative and better for offense, yet has even less defensive power.
