[Doton] Earth Release with Ushiro

*reaches out of the ground and drags you into an enormous underground cavern where the Six Paths of Pein sit around waiting for you*

Yeah, i could have opened an entrance but where's the fun in that? I am Godot, legendary prosecutor and aspiring sensei. Those 6 freaks are Pein, my semi-loyal assistants. Before we begin your Doton training let's find out what you know. Tell me all you know about earth release. Include its uses, forms, elemental strengths and weaknesses, related Kekkei Genkai, and possible results when mixed with other elements such as Fire.

The earth element is probably the only element that never leaves, along with wind. Using earth release the user is able to manipulate the surrounding area for offensive or defensive purposes or even create it. The user can create/manipulate dirt, mud and rock. Earth allows the user to change the strength and the form of the earth from being really hard to really soft like sand. It also allows the user to manipulate their density, making the earth lighter or heavier. The earth element is stronger than water because it absorbs it and it doesn't let the water past through it and it's weak to the lightning element because the it breaks the earth apart, like wood.

Earth-natured chakra is a component of the following kekkei genkai, wood release and lava release. Although you can easily create lava by combining the earth and fire elements. some doton users are Onoki, Kakuzu, Kitsuchi and Mu.

Since you've never molded doton chakra before try acquiring a strong mental image of the nature of earth (a description of earth's characteristics) and mold a portion of your chakra to mimic that nature. When you've got the hang of it try channeling a small amount of doton chakra into the ground and manipulating the earth to raise three small pillars from the ground, each with a different shape.

After listening carefully to my Senpai's instructions I know what to do. I begin to think about the earth element, the different shapes and the way you can manipulate certain areas with your chakra, and with that I begin to gather some chakra through out my body which I then channel into the ground around a tree. As I do that, I manipulate the chakra in the ground and cause three small pillars to rise, all in different shapes, one pops up with a pointy tip, one similar to the statute of liberty and the last one shaped as a big foot.

Not bad. Now hold out your hand and raise a chunk of earth from the ground. Apply shape manipulation to it and form a staff you can use as a weapon. It is possible to throw it or even create multiple staffs but you'll only need one for now. Fight off this guy.

The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.
