Description: The basic technique of Kakuzu's unique Kinjutsu Earth Grudge Fear it allows the user to manipulate the threads that compose his body freely with each use. The user can not only alter his own body form and structure but also use the threads to attack or defend from incoming techniques. As Kakuzu's skin is still stitched to keep his humanoid form when not used, he can take advantage of this technique to propel his hands or limbs at great distances and grab a target. Its also this technique that allows Kakuzu to detach his masks from his own body to form the "animals" which he uses in combat.
Note: Can only be used by Kakuzu

Focus your chakra throughout your body to release a small to large amount of dark threads which can be formed into various objects, tools and constructs (i.e. wings). It can be used to defend techniques and you can even propel your limbs a great distance away to attack a target. This technique also allows you to release your masks from your body.

You can have four masks at any given time. I see it like this:

C-Rank: Release of one mask

B-Rank: Release of two masks

A-Rank: Release of three masks

S-Rank: Release of four masks

Alternatively, it could mean the strength of the threads holding the bodies of the masks together. I'll double-check with Scorps.

After seeing the weak shinobi in front of him, Kakuzu approaches them and knocks him out easily using his bare hands. Once he has done this, he manipulates the threads that are inside his body, releasing a mass of threads from his hands. The threads penetrate the genin's chests, wrapping around his heart and forcibly pulling it out of his body, killing him instantly. Kakuzu incorporates the heart into his own body, and allowing him to access to his elemental affinities. He uses his Dark threads to manifest the hearts as masks on his back. He uses the threads to release the hearts from his body and form them into monsters made of dark threads, that he can manipulate to perform techniques and aid him in battle.

As the Noob fodder genin fodder stand before me, I use the killing intent on him to make him feel a pierce of fear in his heart on seeing me. this fear causes him to be paralysed rendering him unable to move from that place.As the noob is paralysed, I now make use of the Dark thread that make up my body to extend my hand towards the noob and pierce his body in the position where his heart is and rip it out of the body, there by leaving him dead. That heart will grant me the main elemental affinity of that shinobi.

Questions: If I rip out a KG heart, ll I be able to use it.? Can the hearts perform the technique that requires hand seals?.

This technique is one of the most versatile technique of kakuzu.I now start to focus my chakra through out my body and release small amount of dark threads. on doing so, I release a two masks that are inside my body which consume B rank amount of chakra. I now use a technique to make myself airborne and use the dark threads to create a wing, by which I propel in the air and reach behind the opponent and attack him.
