"Doton could be considered the most sturdy and durable. Unlike the other elements, Doton permanently becomes apart of the environment, like how Kurotsuchi of Iwagukre's volcano erupted White Zetsu. All of that is true, unless it's destroyed by an outside force, of course. Then it can be used as a shield, trap, or a blockade against an opponent. An example of it being a trap, is when the Alliance trapped the Juubi inside, then filled it with cement. It can be used toblock by erupting a small Doton wall to block Kunai, non-cutting winds, etc. It can withstand heat, and it's naturally superior to water. Due to the fact it can disperse a wave coming it's way. It's weakness is lightning however, shown with Deidara and Sasuke, Sasuke was able to render his attacks ineffective by charging lightning into his Clay Bombs (which is apart of the explosive release, that contains Doton). It can also be used in a liquid-like state, (i.e, mud) only adding to it'sversatility. It can also provide a big advantage, since it can literally alter the battleground with it's structures, and traps. Based on my previous learnings from NK, I would firmly agree with him when I say it's the perfect mixture of supplementary, defense, and offense. Users would include, Ohnoki, Kazuzu, Kurotschi, Muu, Hiruzen and others"

Alright, that was good. Now, take this piece of paper. Think about the earth, the solid, strong, unbreakable earth, and then focus your chakra into the paper. Think about your chakra becoming condensed, strong, "solid", and eventually the paper will crumble to dust. When that happens, you are ready to learn Doton.
Simply perform the following techniques.
(Doton No Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique

I want you to gather your chakra throughout your entire body. Then you are going to Nature manipulate thus chakra into doton chakra. You will send your chakra outwards and begin to manipulate the ground. I want you to create for me three tools from the ground. You can pick any of your choosing they can be pillars, shields, swords, etc.

i simply begin by accumulating my raw chakra i then chanell it over my body nature manipulating it into doton chakra i then proceed by chanelling it into the ground in front of me following senpai's instruction i shape manipulate the chakra into a shuriken, kunai and a rod all made from earth

The user can then use it as a melee weapon or throw it with pinpoint accuracy at their opponent. A variation of this technique allows the user to create several staffs and launch them at the target, but with less accuracy.
Okay! Now another simple technique. I want you to focus once more you chakra and nature manipulate it into doton chakra. Send the chakra towards a small chunk of rock on the ground and manipulate the shape of the rock into a normal sized staff. Grab the staff and either throw it towards the dummy standing short range of you knocking it down with great accuracy. That or your second choice is to dash towards the dummy and hit him with the rock staff.

Description: After performing the Rat hand seal, the user to control multiple sections of rock and move them around their opponent. The user then forms two gigantic sections that crush the opponent.
This is a rather simple straightforward jutsu. You will perform one hand seal and manipulate multiple sections of rock around the terrain, you will move them around your opponent and set them opposite of one another. The rock sections when set are rather large in size both width and length but not so much though you can not evade them. The user will make the two rock sections come together and crush the opponent together. Note that this technique can only be used up to mid and long range, this is because the sections are so large if they are close to the user their is a chance you will be crushed along side.

Perform the technique:After listening to sempai's instructions i weave one handseal and then channel my doton chakra into the ground shape manipulating multiple sections out of the ground i then proceed by making them spin round the dummy i then make two larger rocks set opposite each other to rise and squash the dummy by crashing together

(Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique

Description: The user changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground one can sense what is happening on the surface and use the information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. Once can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy cant reach. It also appears that after digging, the ground can be returned to its original state, leaving no trace of where the user entered the earth. While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.
One of my favorite earth jutsus. The user will channel a large sum of there chakra towards the ground making it into quick sand pretty much and sink down in the ground. The performance of the jutsu is fast with no hand seals just focus and leaves no traces whatsoever. While you are underground you can move freely around however and wherever, also you can sense everything what is happening above ground this can help with always being on top of the situation of what is going on and you can set surprise attacks from below which is an area an opponent will usually not think about. While underground performing hand seals is impossible and you can also use only C-Rank earth and below. Now this jutsu is considered one of the dangerous as well as handiest for if the opponent ever catches or figures out you are in the ground they can easily disrupt the ground to have your chakra expelled from the area crushing you in the area, jutsus like world shaking will do. So never go underground with the opponents knowledge of it, you will be handicapped.

Note: user must already be underground through the use of (Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu) – Earth Release: Hiding like a mole technique
Okay you see that dummy over there? I want you to get into close range of it. Send your chakra towards the ground below you and dig down by using hiding like a mole. When you are underground you should remember the dummies position and sense it. Stick you hand out the ground and grab the dummy by the ankle. Use the ankle to pull yourself while simultaneously pull your opponent down. You should be on foot and the opponents head should be sticking out only. From there decapitate the dummy making it a successful kill. Note something important is you must have already used hiding like a mole technique, so overall it would count as two jutsus. I want you to perform this jutsu. No need for the use of a template.

Perform the technique:While in the ground i focus my doton chakra infront of me to dig a tunnel to the dummy i then move to the dummy's position and simply turn spots beside its ankle into mud bringing out my arm i then pull it into the ground leaving its head above the ground, After doing this i turn the ground behind him into mud and comes out.

Drawbacks/counters:user can be electrocuted by opponent.

Description: This technique lets the user create a few rock pillars that will protrude from the ground to skew the target. The rock pillars will even pass through obstacles to reach their target if these are less dense. The pillars/spikes can be done in any earthen surface, including other earth techniques of the user.
Simple but effective technique indeed. You will focus doton chakra towards the ground where your opponent stand and quickly without the need of hand seals you will rise from the ground stone spikes which will pierce the opponent from every direction. They are rather large spikes in length and very sharp. Note before the spikes actually rise just like a lot of earth techniques you will easily feel the ground become more dense around you where you stand, so you can use that window to stop the jutsu or evade.

Okay I like this technique its great for combos. The user will channel doton chakra towards the ground around the area the opponent stands. With no hand seals the user will make the ground shake. It can force the opponent off balance and also fall over this can leave a window of attack open. You can also distract them from using specific attacks. Its a very quick jutsu to perform almost instant. Its a tough technique to counter one way would be that as the ground shakes you can send a current of lightning to stop the shaking.
