Dust release vs Meteor tech

We seen the sheer scale of Onoki's dust release when he destroyed a mokuton forest and 25 susano'o clones.

Do you think he could take on a meteor with his dust release?

It minimizes everything within the area of effect to a particle level. It's the strongest jutsu in term of raw power in the manga. Oonoki would put a gaping hole in the meteor, but wouldn't be able to make a dust release that large without Tsunade's help.

Dust release doesn't minimize anything. It deconstructs things at a molecular level in its area of influence. If Onoki puts all his chakra and effort into one of them then he probably can take it.


And he destroyed the mokuton forest without any help from Tsunade. Remember she was unconscious from the flowering tree world jutsu.
