Okay, I'm going to try this again. I'm trying a new format unlike those of the prologue and chapters 1 and 2. Tell me if I should stick with the new format or go back to the old. Also, PLEASE tell me what you think about the story.
Chapter 4-The start of a new life.
"Ugh" said Keotsu as he awoke in a room in the Konoha infirmary. He tried to remember what had happened, but all he could remember was being attacked and then...Nothing. He pulled off the life-signs meter and got dressed.
"Oh my god. Good your okay. I thought you went critical." said a nurse. Keotsu did not respond. "Lets see your Keotsu right? The Hokage wanted to talk to you." said the nurse. Keotsu was surprised. "Fine." was all he said.
Meanwhile...
"Here. We found this on him during the interrogation. He said it was from Jiraiya." said Kakashi, handing the note to Tsunade.
This boy is from the Twilight village, and I beleive him to be the Twilight Child no less. I actually knew his father quite well. I would like to request him be administered as an Expendable ninja. I have a bad feeling about him for some reason.
At that moment Keotsu walked in. "So this is the boy, Shizune?" asked Tsunade. "Right, this is Keotsu." said the nurse whom Keoutsu just learned to be Shizune. Tsunade said "I would like to speak with him privately." And with that, Kakahsi and Shizune left the room.
There was silence for a few moments. "How would you like to apply as a ninja here?" asked Tsunade. Keotsu was surprised, but did not answer. "Look, I know you're trying to figure out whats going on, and I know next to nothing about you so tell me who you are and what your doing." Tsunade said reassuringly. Keotsu hesitated and then said "I'm Keotsu, one of the few survivors of the assault on the Twilight Village. I'm traveling looking for my friends." said Keotsu as he suddenly remembered everything. "And I was attacked by your ANBU while I was trying to approach the village, which in that case I assume you've already seen the note." yelled Keotsu, angered. Then he remembered why and appolagized for the outburst.
"Think nothing of it." she said reassuringly. "Just sign on this line, and you'll be considered a citizen of Konoha." she told him. "Okay." he said surprised as he signed the contract. "Ma'am. I know this is kinda sudden, but I would like to but in a request for a permit to travel to Wave Country." he said.
Tsunade said "I know why, and I will work on getting the permit for you, but until then I would like for you to serve as one of our shinobi. Sakura!" she said.
A pink-haired girl rushed into the room with a stack of books. She faintly resembled Rena.
"I want you to take Keotsu and introduce him to the Jounin and the genin along with Shikamaru." said Tsunade. " "Yes ma'am. Please come with me." the girl said as she dropped the stack of books.
As they started out the door, Tsunade said "Keotsu." "Hmm?" he replied. "Welcome to Konoha." Tsunade said.

I will start on chapter 5 in the next few days, but if no one replies I'm going back to the old format.
