Chapter 11- "My story." coming soon! Tell me what you think! Also questions and suggestions are welcome.
Keotsu met Diango in the center of the chamber, the halberd and sword sending shock waves through the cave. Keotsu pushed Diango back, then started hand signs: "Light style: Supernova!" yelled Keotsu. Diango quickly counted with: "Dark style: Satellite Explosion!" A miniature sun appeared and a small moon appeared and let loose large explosions throughout the cavern.
After the dust cleared, the two fighters charged at each other. Keotsu had the advantage of speed, but Diango had him bested in power. With a quick feint, Diango nailed Keotsu across the side of his head with the staff of the halberd. It was to late to stop Keotsu's attack though, who had just slashed at his chest. Both fighters stumbled backwards; Keotsu knocked off balance, and Diango in just plain disbelief.
Diango was the first to act, he ran up to Keotsu and kicked him in the side as he flipped, then with the one hand that wasn't holding him up, pulled Keotsu's legs out from under him. Then, in mid flip, he brought the halberd down on Keotsu. Who disappeared. "What? A clone!" yelled Diango. With his sword on his back Keotsu was flying in the air towards Diango, a golden orb in each hand: "Light Style: Double Solar ray!" he yelled. "No! Dark Style: Crushing Darkness!" Diango quickly used.
Keotsu was suspended in mid-air only a few feet in front of Diango, gold orbs still in hand. "Haha. Now your arms and legs are bond by my technique. You will die now, its a simple matter of breaking your bones with my jutsu." laughed Diango. "Go to *heck*." blatantly said Keotsu. Keotsu released the chakra, which was devastating at such close range. At the same time, he felt Diango's justu break both of his arms. They both cried out in pain...
Keotsu was the first to awake from the blast, and with a scream too; his arms where in intense pain. After catching his breath, he worked his way upright using his back and legs. He saw that the blast had knocked Diango unconscious as well, and Rena was still asleep. Suddenly, a black cloud appeared and The Guru stepped out. Keotsu didn't do anything, he couldn't. He had no more energy. He watched helplessly as The Guru walked over to Rena....
To Keotsu's surprise, he didn't hurt Rena, on the contrariy, he broke her chains. Then hoisting her on his shoulders, he walked over to behind Keotsu and started pulling the shuriken out of his back. "Your probabley wondering why I'm doing this..." The Guru said calmly. Keotsu was, put he didn't protest. "It's because you won your challenge. The spirits in this cave will not allow any more harm to befall you while you are here, not until you claim your prize and leave." he stated. He carefully slid Rena onto Keotsu's back. He then walked over to Diango and put him on his shoulder. "Plus, even I have morals." The Guru said. "I see why he want's your power. The others must have gotten their targets by now..." he said. And with that, he left Keotsu and Rena.
Keotsu walked forward; he looked pathetic. His arms where dangling uselessly by his sides, blood was running off his back, out of his mouth, and off the side of his head. He walked into a doorway... Suddenly Keotsu heard three voices at once: "Twilight child, you have passed your challenges. We shall award to you this: We shall restore the sword of the Hero. We shall reform it of pure mithril. We shall let you have our scrolls for summoning us. Please step up on the alter and claim your prize." Keotsu walked up the alter, and Samuel's sword levitated and the blade suddenly appeared, but it was different: it was no longer rusted, and the two sided blade was now a sapphire color. The hilt has made of a fine brown leather, and there was an emerald encrusted at the bottom. on the cross guard where embedded two rubies. The cross guard itself was gold. Then three scrolls appeared, they said: Dragon, Phoenix, and Griffin; they placed themselves in his back pack.
Keotsu walked out of the cave, still mystified at what happened. The sword was beautiful. It's sapphire blade was deep in color and almost see through. The golden hilt sparkled in the sunlight, and the silver trim around the jewels was brilliant. The rings of it around the jewels only added to its beauty. He would check out the scrolls later. As he walked out of the cave he saw silhouettes of figures. He heard voices, but he couldn't make out the words. He stepped out into the light and fell forward. He heard some hubbub. He felt himself being placed on a stretcher and could barley here some familiar voices: Asuma, Sakura, Ino, Choji, Shikamaru, and Kakashi. He looked over and saw that Rena was finnally safe.
A simile graced his face before he finally submitted to exhaustion.
