Don't ask me what but as the title suggests i believe that something Might be revealed about the byakugan i say this because as we know naruto and co are currently fighting tobi who has both a rinnegan and a sharingan which are 2 of the 3 great dojutsus,sasuke is obviously gonna go to that battlefield cause he wants to fight naruto to the death and the shinobi alliance which includes hyugas neji and hinata who have a byakugan which is 1 of the 3 great dojutsus are on their way to lend support to naruto and co in their battle against tobi who's true identity is yet to be revealed saying that though going by his hair colour i'd say he's an uchiha cause the blue tint in his hair which uchihas have anywayz what i believe is that more will be revealed about the 3 great dojutsu's via tobi who seems to know everything i say revealed via tobi because i believe he might be hiding a byakugan underneath those bandages why i don't know but i doubt he's got the bandages around the top of his head cause of a head injury of some sort and the reason why i believe he's hiding a 3rd dojutsu aka the byakugan is because i don't believe that the hole on the forehead of his mask is for nothing as in it's just a 3rd hole nothing to it blah blah blah cause if you remember his previous masks only had 1 eye and we all thought to ourselves does he have another eye and if he does what could it be etc and when he fought konan and was about to be killed by her forbidden technique with the 600 billion explosive tags he was forced to break the other part of his mask to use izanagi with his left eye(the eye that was covered) so what's to say that even though it may sound silly he might have a 3rd eye(a byakugan) on his forehead that he's saving for whatever occasion and well if you think about it tobi seems to be on a mission to become like the sage of six paths thus why he's collecting things eg hashiramas dna and nagatos rinnegan and there's a possiblity that if the war arc is the last that tobi might be the last villain if this is true then wouldn't it be fitting for the last ever villain to have not 1 not 2 but all 3 of the great dojutsu including any other abilities he may have and that in the battle against tobi, tobi will showcase the full capabilties of all 3 dojutsu meaning that we might learn something more about sharingan and rinnegan and something new and possibly unexpected about byakugan that none of the hygas knew about until tobi reveals all saying that another thing that came to mind that i've been wandering about is what would happen if an uchiha fought a hyuga it's just a thought cause in part1 of naruto i'm sure neji wanted to fight sasuke or vicer versa but it didn't happen and now i think about it i kind of get the feeling that it was being saved for the war where as i said something new and unexpected might be revealed about byakugan like maybe a possible upgrade to the byakugan that might allow the user to have a 360 degree field of vision etc and i believe that we just might see the battle between hyuga and uchiha an another thing that i believe could or might happen is that if tobi does have 3 dojutsu wouldn't it make sense for there to be 3 people which consists of someone with the rinnegan someone with byakugan and someone with sharingan to take him on and that someohow naruto will undergo some sort of transformation that will cause him to awaken the rinnegan cause if you've noticed in his kyubi mode and now his bijuu mode he looks more and more like the so6p and somehow peformed a sealing jutsu on the kyubi which the kyubi referrred to as possibly the so6p's sealing jutsu and yet naruto's never met the sage, doesn't know the sages techs and was never taught that particular sealing tech and so i've come to the conclusion that naruto might either become the sage or like the sage or might be his reincarnation so that's why i believe naruto will somehow awaken the rinnegan afterall according to the great toad sages prophecy which was given to jiraiya there'll be a saviour who will be a pupil of jiraiyas and that pupil will have the ability to save or destroy the world and will bring a great change to the ninja world and that child will be the child of prophecy now if my memory serves me before jiraiyas defeat at the hands of pain who had the rinnegan jiraiya discovered that the one who has the power to destroy the world is nagato(pain) who if he never chose the wrong path would have been the saviour considering the fact that nagato wanted peace even though he went about it the wrong way and so as jiraiya fell into the oceans abbys he came to the realisation that naruto is the child of prophecy who'll save the world etc and that he'll carry on jiraiyas will (possibly the will of fire) and save the world.
Furthermore it was also said that the rinnegan was a gift sent from heaven to save the world from chaos with that said i've come to a realisation that before the sage of six paths became the sage of six paths who was known as a god and the very 1st ninja the sage was just a sage or like some sort of priest who appeared in an age of endless war.He was the 1st to explain the truth about chakra as he tried to use his power and wisdom to lead the world to peace instead of war.The sage travelled throughout the world, spreading his ideas,religion the shinobi sect(忍宗, Ninshū),which eventually came to be known as ninjustsu.His great deeds and true desire to bring peace to the war-torn world made him widely known as the saviour of this world and was praised as a god due to the fact the defeated the most powerful demon the 10 tails(Jubi).Also during the 2nd great ninja war jiraiya met a young orphan named nagato whom he believed to be the sage reborn caused he awakened the rinnegan during the war.
And so like i said i believe that naruto could be the sage reborn who will awaken the rinnegan though stress and trauma due to the chaos and deaths that will come to the battlefield which is what nagato warned naruto about when he told him about war,loss and hatred and that naruto will witness these things and if you think about it i could be right cause naruto is battered and worn out and his friends and the rest of the alliance are on their way not only that but sasuke wants naruto dead and the leaf and the people in it destroyed and i feel that naruto in his current state will realise that he has limits and as much as he'd like to prevent anybody from being killed especially those closest to him that the things naruto was warned about by nagato will unfortunately come to pass and that it's likely that with the alliance which includes naruto's friends on their way to back up naruto and co that naruto will witness the loss or losses of people or someone dear to him and it'll become to much for him and he'll be overcome with rage cause he wants to protect his friends and save the ninja world from destruction and bring peace and just as everyone including naruto begins to give up hope naruto will awaken the rinnegan and become either the or a sage of six paths and like i said earlier in this thread about tobi having 3 dojutsus and that 3 people who have each of the dojutsus will combine the power of the 3 great dojutsus to finally defeat tobi i believe that those people will be sasuke who has ems,naruto who'll have rinnegan and neji and even though i said 3 hinata who has byakugan and with the 3 dojutsus combined together with the power of kurama and the other bijus which naruto now has they should be a match or more than a match for tobi and possibly the jubi.
