Looks: Duran and Muran's appearance are largely defined by the their heritage: they are identical to one another, and naturally possess the hefty build of the Akimichi Clan. As befits burly men of their stature, they both have wide, rugged faces framed by coarse brown hair and beards. Though they are dense and heavyset, they do not stand too tall, reaching only 5'6". The two do however dress quite differently: Duran is almost always found wearing steel armor, as befits the primary host body, while Muran wears lighter weight leathers.

Personality: Though identical in appearance, Duran and Muran are radically different in personality. Duran, the twin that most people interact with, is a warm, welcoming person who is exceptionally easy to get along with. He often preaches the value of humility and hard work, to such an extent that he can be perceived as self righteous. Still, Duran is charismatic and a natural leader. The truth of the matter, however, is that Duran's warmth and approachability is a ruse which belies the foul nature of the twins. Though Duran's personality does naturally possess all these traits, he cares first and foremost about the wants and needs of his sadistic twin brother.
Muran is a cold and isolated person, and so taking shelter from conversation inside Duran's body is perfectly fine by him. Muran's approach to both battle and life emphasizes cunning and ruthlessness. Muran receives a twisted amount of pleasure from causing suffering, and frequently uses his brother's charms to find his victims. Muran is well aware of Duran's dependency and love of him, and it is something he frequently takes advantage of in the pursuit of his goals.
With their paired ideals of tenacious determination and savage cunning, Muran and Duran make a lethal team.

History: Duran and Muran's past is largely a mystery, though it is clear that they are descended from and spent some time with Konoha's Akimichi clan, as they have shown proficiency in manipulating their bulky bodies and calories. Currently, however, they have nothing to do with the clan and the pair seem only interested in growing their own power and influence via mercenary work.
