That's not how KCM works. It senses malicious chakra, not chakra by itself. Does Minato hold a grudge or something? Unless Naruto sensed the 9 tails chakra inside of Minato, this is just plain dumb. Though Naruto sensed Kingaku, he was clearly malicious.

Well I would think that it actually does work as a psuedo sensor ability.

Naruto was able to swiftly find his friends on the battlefield...so why not. I mean he would also have been sensing Kurama's remaining chakra.

In addition, during the talk with Sasuke, Hashirama, Tobirama, and Hiruzen all displayed moments of intense emotion as I recall.

So he could have sensed them then!

there was no reaction about oro,it was known that oro is dead
there was no reactions about madara's rinngan,it is the first time to hashirama to see it
there was no reaction from bee to minato,taka team(bee wasn't even existed like as minato teleported him with the bomb)
