Nekomamoushi definitely doesn't seem like the type to be under anybody. He himself declared that Zou only needs one ruler. And that one ruler is the position he wants for himself. No way would he just drop that and no longer protect his home and the Minks that live there.. especially not to be under a pirate captain, whom he would have to eventually take some type of orders from.
