Dubs versus Subs.

What do you personally prefer ? Dubs or Subs.

The only real reason I watch subs is because that's all that's available/released first.

I don't mind dub, but some times the dialogue is noticibly cheesy. It's probably just as cheesy in Japanese, but since I don't speak Jap, I don't actually hear the "cheesyness" in their voices if you know what I mean. Screams are usually better, too.

Subs for newer shows. Dubbed YYH and DBZ is great. I think these newer voice actors are horrendous

YYH's dub was amazing. Nah, just Bryce Papenbrook. His voice is ebola.

True. Being able to listen and do other things is great.

OT: I prefer subs for romance/drama/slice-of-life shows, but for most shounen or seinen, it doesn't really matter (as long as Funi or Viz are dubbing it). For example, Death Note, Code Geass, YYH, Monster, et cetera, all have great dubs. There's nothing inherently wrong with dubs. Purists/elitists just like something to hold over people.

Yeah Naruto Dubs sucks. I once checked Dubbed version of Naruto on YouTube and as soon as I heard Sasuke's laugh I melted like a pudding. If I was going to watch it Dubbed this way how it is now, I probably would suicide sooner or later seriously just check how bad is it people:

Tho when I watched Sword Art Online today with Dubs it wasn't that bad tho it could be better but the problems with most of the Dubs is that they sound the same to me anyway and I prefer original Japanese accent which is original and unique in its kind with it's emotions and cuteness in anime makes that something if you know what I mean.

Sorry for being noobish but what's shounen and seinen ? Well when it's comming to Subbing I don't care who's doing it but it needs to be done perfectly like the one here done for Naruto.
