Why do soo many people hate on english dubbed. Im just really curious.
I personally watch a dubbed version of a show if there is one, but if there isnt then subbed would do just fine.

I bet when we all started watching Naruto and other animes we began with we all started with an english dubbed, soo whats the problem now. I myself have no problems with adjusting to subbed if thats the only option.

Whats your opinion?

In my opinion, the subbed version sounds better, and they're able to capture the emotions more accurately than English dubbed. This is only with things like One Piece, Naruto and Bleach though, because I watched the subbed first and then after seeing dubbed just hated it. DragonballZ? Dubbed is better no doubt.

I prefer subs , but if I find good dubs , I'll watch them : Ergo Proxy , Black Lagoon , DBZ , Death Note & Steins Gate are all good Dubs . In the end is a matter of taste .

I personally think the anime dubbed version (Viz) is the best version, the voices are a lot better, the acting is great in my opinion. Also it's UNCUT. And the best things is that I don't have to read subtitles because I don't speak Japanese.

I like em both. I usually prefer subbed though just because the way they say things is so awesome and the screams usually sound cooler. Also in some English dubs the actors sound choppy. It's not their fault because they're trying to fit the mouth flaps, but it just annoys me. That may also be the case in the subbed version, but since I don't speak Japanese I can't tell :p

Well seems as youve seen the subbed first i guess thats understandable.

Depends on the anime.
I kinda agree.

There are loads of good dubbing, i dont understand why people hate on it.

Whenever they say sasuke in english they say it like Sasikieeeh and they say naruto really wierd to they say like naroto

But thats just one example.

Subs for the win. I feel like original versions are just better. Dubs are so obvious and don't sync a lot of the time

Yeah, I don't agree with hating dubbed anime as a whole, it all depends on the specific anime you're watching. Full metal alchemist? Incredible dubbed imo. Same for yu yu hakusho, inuyasha, and I can go on.

The FMA Dubbing is amazing. I cant even be asked to watch all of the subbed becuase i think the voices fit better with the english dubbed.

@ANBU : I know there's good dubs out there , I just named you a few , but to some people Dubs don't capture the emotion of the anime most of the time , I hate Naruto dub( I just don't feel it ) & I hate DBZ Sub (dubs is better here )
