We/they are saying this/that because he couldn't seal edo madara and needed the other ninjas to do it. Basically it is cannon he has no sealing jutsu for Edos at the very least and up.

i understand that but when he finished the fight with madara at vote he couldn't seal as he was very low on chakra and tired after fighting for a long time, also he couldn't seal madara because he had like 6 rods on his back and couldn't do anything.

but going by hype and his feats i doubt hashirama would not have any sealing techniques(but since manga has not shown i guess i will have to take it as it is.

Kabuto mid/high diff. Hashirama can make shit tons of Mokuton Bunshin's and they can pretty much fend off almost any edo. C0 destroys Kabuto as well, so that ends it in a draw. But they eventually win.

Not using seals doesn't = don't have them..Seals take time and chakra.. Hashirama didn't have the chakra to seal Madara away.

Also, why are you in the misconception that he has to beat all the edos to beat Kabuto? rofl. Wood clones will pawn this kid called Kabuto.

kabuto also said that he himself was the closest thing to the sage. Edos have unlimited chakra. Killing kabuto wont end edo tensei. And kabuto stomps wood clones. ,
