Guy goes gates to hold him down while Kakashi goes in to use Kamui. If he tries to liquefy, lightning blade will stop him.

no they don't. as fast as gai is, he doesnt have the speed feat of avoiding susano arrow which kakashi with sharingan could not. kabuto also can maintain that perceptive speed and regen whereas gai's gates are limited. if kabuto merely survives afternoon tiger its over because nothing else will work.
liquid form prevents being sucked up into kamui, as does body shedding. as shown with oro, oro could lose limbs and barely even notice because he can spit out a perfectly healthy body
