Listen, kabuto needs to become snakes & have multiple hiding spots in order to properly sneak away & activate SM. Unless kabuto starts this fight in SM then obito stomps, otherwise its a mid diff fight. Obito's sharingan can see kabuto's snakes as they try to hide & prep for SM. However due to obito's extremely fast kamui he can simply teleport to each of the snakes & warp them away.

Obito cant hear while he's intangible, his ears are in between dimensions.
