u used wind to cut stuff by making the air as thin as possible and using it to strike anything with great push, this along with winds intangibility cuts most of the object
Asuma's flying swallow, work by channeling chakra in a bladed weapon making a invisible layer of chakra around teh blade increasing its length several feet(this helps having the opponent misjudge the blade since they cant see chakra) this is best used with elemental chakra, specially with wind along with which it makes it being to pass through solid rock and cut even cut steel
