While I am sure there are people in Japan smoking at this very moment, the way the laws are in Japan you can do up to 5 years and pay the equivalent of over 300,000 US dollars for getting caught with even so much as a flake of weed on your first offense. I just 100% changed my mind about ever wanting to go to or live in Japan.
