Restrictions: Former has 5 limbo clones and larger scaled Six Path techniques, and the latter has only 1 clone. His Kamui is not long range, but the ability to teleport oneself and phase.

Should Madara have ditched one of the Rinnegan?

I would like more reasons than what most of you have said, such as that Madara chose the Rinnegan over the Mangekyou. While DRSM Madara would have stronger techniques than KRSM Madara, the latter can phase through the attacks and even completely go to Kamui and reappear somewhere else(though Madara's sensing ability renders that last bit near useless).

i think this was pretty clear how madara gave away the sharingan to get back his other eye,

madara ditching one of his rinnegan would just be stupid when he wont be able to use his eyes anywhere near his full potential,

1. Ocular powers show their true power when both eyes are with their owner. Kamui belongs to Obito.

2. One MS and one Rinnegan means he won't even be able to access the full power of either eye.

5 limbos can travel fast enough to knock KRSM out of Kamui while he is teleporting.

as hax as kamui is, limbo is one of the few moves strong enough to counter it.

5 limbos coming from all sides will prevent KRSM from using Kamui.

Beyond that, it's just a royal beatdown.
