(DrProof) The Sage's True Actions Against The Juubi

Supported by my previous theory

about the Uzumaki Clan's Shinigami Mask stating that the mask were not only able to reverse a sealing technique, but also was able to empower the users sealing techniques against stronger opponents. The Sage was noted to have defeated the Juubi with a sealing technique that infused the evil chakra inside of his own body. What Jutsu did the Sage use? How did the Sage seal a monstrous "God"? Were the Sage's tools used to Seal the Juubi? Here are a couple theories..

• I strongly believe that the Sage used the Eight Trigams Sealing Style, the seal is known for infusing a target into a human, and/or object.
• Complementing the above statement, due to Minato sealing Kurama inside of Naruto I can infer that the previously stated seal was used (possibly this is how Mito Uzumaki had sealed Kurama inside herself as well).
• I disagree that the Sage's tools were used to seal the Juubi as they weren't shown to directly infuse a tailed-beast inside of a host, so I can infer that this isn't true.

Minato used the Eight Trigams Sealing Style to seal only HALF of Kurama's chakra inside of Naruto

(Yang Chakra), and sealed the other half (Yin chakra) inside of himself. This has me to believe that Mito Uzumaki, and the Sage couldn't have possibly sealed both Kurama (Inside of Mito Uzumaki), and The Juubi (Inside of the Sage) without the use of some extra empowering technique/accessory ergo the use of The Shinigami Mask. To add to my previous statement Minato even admitted that "It was impossible to seal a tailed beast of Kurama's aptitude", now take the Juubi into consideration there isn't a more possible theory as to how the Sage did such a thing. To furthermore explain as to why the Sage's Tools didn't play a part in sealing the Juubi: The Sage's Tools didn't have the abilities to infuse a targets chakra inside of a human host, the only ability in which the sealing tools could do was seal the monstrous god forever (The plot would be ruined "no tailed beast").


Conclusion

• The Sage used The Eight Trigrams Sealing Style Jutsu to seal the Juubi inside of himself (most likely this is what Mito Uzumaki did as well).
• The Sage's Tools had probably played no initial part in the battle with the Sage, and the Juubi as they could not infuse chakra into a hosts body, naturally they could only seal.
• The Sage along with Mito Uzumaki had probably used the Shinigami Mask's to empower their Sealing Jutsu to completely seal the Tailed-Beast inside of themselves

Well the main reason why Minato couldn't withstand taking in all of the 9 tails is cause he doesn't have that strong life force unlike Mito and Kushina.Naruto was a baby so his body could only handle half.

Minato didn't state the following, however he did state that the Kyuubi's chakra was to monstrous, and that it was conceptually impossible to seal the whole thing hence why he sealed part of the Kyuubi in himself, and Naruto.

OT: I don't think the Sage used the mask to seal the Juubi. That just doesn't sound right. Your theory sounds much better.

I don't see a shinigami helping to seal the juubi. It has no soul to extract would probably be where my first doubts came in.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the juubi is merely "nature". It would be impossible to seal all of it. I think the sage merely isolated and sealed a manageable amount into himself to stop it from materializing again.

Wrong, The sage used the same wooden pillars seal that Naruto used after he defeated the Kyuubi in the training Island saga with Killer Bee, and even the Kyuubi said that what Naruto used, was the same seal the Sage used on the Juubi.

I think that it is the other way around, the Uzumaki's strong life force allows them to extract Bijuu's and not die instantly (If I can recall correctly). Minato even had admitted that it was IMPOSSIBLE to seal a whole bijuu with normal means hence why the Uzumaki Clan's Shinigami Mask could support this theory.

Well if you scan over my previous thread speaking on the Shinigami Mask I also add that they might be able to empower the users Sealing Techniques (The Uzumaki were mainly known for there fearsome sealing jutsu). But it wasn't clarified to which the Sage only sealed a manageable amount, he sealed it then implanted the chakra into 9 beast.

edit: I think the only moments in which the shinigami was used to seal a chakra monster was with Minato.
Like someone else already stated, Naruto and the Sage used a wooden pillar sealing for the juubi
