Art I Art; The expression of oneself. Art calls upon insights we'd never think of under normal circumstances, holding several objects in one picture, or several pictures with one meaning. Art is Omnipotent. Art is Everlasting. Art is an Explosion. There are countless definitions of Art however, one that truly fully captures the concept, would be that of André Gide: Art begins with resistance; at the point where resistance is overcome. No human masterpiece has ever been created without great labor. Art II Sasori, one of the few Unique members of the Akatsuki, was avidly obsessed with the nature of Art. "True Art endures the ages... Everlasting beauty." -Sasori. A truly beautiful quote, as well mindset regarding the concept of Art itself. Sasori was no stranger to the Life of Art; creating several Masterpieces in his lifetime: I. Haha to Chichi (Mother & Father) II. Hiruko III. Sandaime Kazekage IIII. Hitokugutsu (Sasori making himself into a Puppet) The various puppets Sasori created were all Everlasting. Why though? Why was his visualization of the concept "Art" the way it was? Sasori's Burden Q: Why were Sasori's ideals of the concept "Art", Everlasting Beauty? A: Haha to Chichi (Mother & Father); Two of the very first puppets Sasori created. The White Fang, Sakumo Hatake had taken Sasori's Father, and Mother during Shinobi World War II. Sasori left in the care of the Village, as well his Grandmother, Lady Chiyo. In desperation to help fill the void of Sasori's deceased parents, Lady Chiyo bestowed upon Sasori, the teachings of Puppetry. Sasori without the maternal love of his Mother, and the paternal love of his Father fell into an Everlasting-Loneliness. Grieving for the love of a Mother, and Father Sasori through his new found ability created his first Artwork; filling the void known as loneliness with his first Artwork (Mother & Father). However.. Puppets are lifeless, empty shells with names. Warmth, Soulfulness, a Heart.. Those are what make us Humans, what make us alive; puppets couldn't fulfill Sasori's loneliness forever. Several years later.. Sasori leaves Sunagakure, leaving Haha to Chichi in his forgotten past. The empty void called loneliness still engulfed Sasori. Still looking to escape his loneliness, Sasori created his favorite, and well-known puppet, Hiruko. Hiruko was Sasori's shell, to escape the world's cruel exterior.. This however, proved to have the same results as Haha to Chichi (Mother & Father).. As the final attempt to rid himself of his loneliness, Sasori turned himself into that of which was empty, soulless, a shell of nothingness; a puppet. The loneliness which Sasori had tried to escape was there to stay, the emotions he still felt, the death of his Mother, and Father we're contained in the core of his puppet body. His loneliness was Everlasting.. An Everlasting-Masterpiece Sasori, in the midst of his battle with Lady Chiyo, and Sakura, had achieved his final, and greatest Masterpiece. Not only did Sasori create a Truly-Everlasting Masterpiece, he rid himself of the burden called Loneliness he once carried. Q: How did Sasori rid his Burden, as well achieve the greatest Masterpiece? A: Death. You know that saying? Or perhaps I'm simply imagining this, but: "You love the very first.". This is true. The first thing you make you will always remember, you will always cherish, you will always have a place in your heart for.. Sasori's first love were his Mother, and Father. Throughout his whole life, Sasori searched for a truly Everlasting-Beauty. And Everlasting-Beauty, midst battle he found. Witnessing his first loves once again before his very eyes, Sasori decisively ended his Life, involuntarily ending his Everlasting-Loneliness, and creating an Everlasting-Beauty. A Masterpiece, which will be remembered in History, forever.
