I'm going to assume that a TBB, amaterasu, and Madara's katon is sufficient enough to melt sand

Purely assumption:

TBB: Is just chakra, not specifically hot, nor cold.
Amaterasu: Isn't as hot as the sun, or it would have killed Obito, The Raikage, and those fodder Samurai.
Madara's Katon: The head of that technique was never specifically pinpointed.

and sand doesn't have a melting point of infinity

but if you want me to use a real example.....Sasori's fire was able to melt rock

amaterasu was seen overpowering a regular katon and it would eventually melt sand anyways since it can't be put out

Madara's katon took a whole squad to counter, meaning it's greater and more powerful than regular fire or any other katon moves we've seen so far

TBB is chakra/energy.....energy is hot
